Imus is really dissing the crowd at Ramallah and Yassar Arafat in general. Andrea Mitchell keeps checking in and is looking distinctly uncomfortable. ROFL
He really is doing a number..called Suha a "fat pig of a wife" etc. It's the best coverage on TV!

Whalid Phares said the crowd was chanting something he had heard when Yasser was in Lebanon: "With our souls, with our blood, we will sacrifice ourselves for you, Abu Amar."

I think they've worn themselves out in that intial blast of emotion. Plus, some of them may have hates Tubby as much as they loved him. Maybe they're beginning to remember some of that, too.

Appears that the vehicle is on fire or smoking badly. Probably overheating due to heavy load of people and casket. Crazy scene. Guess he'll be cremated then! LOL

I'm surprised they calmed down...must be the presence of Hamas..they were rowdy before the men in black showed up.
To: bikepacker67
It appears they are going to avoid a body snatch and grab.

Mardi Gras early? Actually the crowd is small, look at the edges, people are calm. This is a show.

I wonder how long the PA is going to have to guard Arafat's corpse to ensure none of his followers take it for walkies?

I just heard Jennifer Griffin in the background asking, "why are people going home?"
