Quick and Easy "DUMP" cake!

1 can crushed pineapple
1 can cherry pie filling
1 box cheapo yellow cake mix
1 stick of butter
1 cake pan (preferably non-stick)

Preheat oven to 350.

Dump in pineapple--spread it around.
Dump in cherry pie filling--spread it around.
Dump on yellow cake mix. DO NOT MIX IT. DUMP IT ON AS POWDER.
Slice the butter over the top.

Put it into the oven until the top is brown, not yellow.

Eat.

LOL! I use blueberry pie filling and apple pie filling. I sometimes put walnuts on top.And, I use 2 sticks of butter, melted. Love that cake! Soooooo rich! And, soooo easy.I think I may try your version. Sounds good too.

I love cooking. I love the prep, the action, the waiting, the adjusting, the presentation. I love it all. But that recipe is so incredibly fire-and-forget that I have to try it.

Your dump cake is good. I have tried this before cooking in a iron dutch oven on a campfire. It is easy to make and really very good.

And P.S. - Let the era of the fried turkey be over. I don't care who makes it or how it's done, fried turky SUCKS. Especially when it's injected with anything.

How long do you bake it?

I can't believe you don't do anything to the cake mix.

And .. one more .. can you use lemon cake mix instead ??
