You may NOT KNOW a single soldier in your life. I live with them, I work with them, I play volleyball with them, I go to church with them, I will go to their house for Thanksgiving dinner.

And your ignorance is showing when you say they are 'STONE COLD'...they are scared like the rest of us....maybe you read about them here on the internet. I sit in their living room and watch them tell the real life accounts. You live in some kind of "Rambo" fantasy land if you think they are 'stone cold'.

Yesterday Nov 11, in the Houston Chronicle there were several people writing in complaining about this picture on the front page. Evidently when they saw it, all they saw was the cigarette in his mouth and was quite critical of the Chronicle for placing the picture on the front page, because it was a bad example for 'the children.'

Every day I see more evidence that the world has gone completely nuts.

It's unreal what some people make of the photo.

I see DRAMA and the cigarrete just adds to it. It's a fantastic photograph with a story behind it!

A picture tells a 1,000,000 (million) words.

This photo deserves a Pulitzer Prize.
