My father told me about driving in this blizzard. He was driving from St. Paul to Crookston and when there was a big drift across the road he would speed up and plow through it. He said when he got to Crookston, it took him 10-15 minutes before his hands would un-grip from the steering wheel!

I'm glad cars are much more reliable now days with much better heaters.

For those of you who don't recognize the location, that's Excelsior Blvd, just west of Lake Calhoun, as it passes through the Minikahda Club Golf Course.
