Open Letter to Europe

An open letter to Europe November 11th, 2004

Hi. Are you nuts?

Forgive me for being so blunt, but your reaction to our reelection of President Bush has been so outrageous that I’m wondering if you have quite literally lost your minds. One of Britain’s largest newspapers ran a headline asking “How Can 59 Million Americans Be So Dumb?”, and commentators in France all seemed to use the same word – bizarre -- to explain the election’s outcome to their readers. In Germany the editors of Die Tageszeitung responded to our vote by writing that “Bush belongs at a war tribunal – not in the White House.” And on a London radio talk show last week one Jeremy Hardy described our President and those of us who voted for him as “stupid, crazy, ignorant, bellicose Christian fundamentalists.”

The Europeans are too damn stupid to understand that they are the dumb ones. Of course, I would not say it has anything to do with the fact they are Europeans. It's more that like the Democrats, they've been subjected to liberal brainwashing.

What the european scum have to say about the US interests me not in the least. They are about to be deemed irrelevant by the Islamofascists amongst them. They don't have the sense to spot trouble because of their "superior" abilities and it's going to cost them their lives and freedom. Don't you just love Darwinism at work?

The Europeans are not stupid - but they are quite blinded to reality by leftist/socialist utopianism. It's interesting to watch the situation in Holland with the Van Gogh murder and its fallout. It's a wake up call for them. Let's see how many actually wake up - and how many shove their heads deeper into the sand.

They said Fortuyn's assassination was a wake up call. They aren't awake yet. They may not be stupid, but they are too smart for their own good. Liberalism is based on a principled calculation that sounds good when all you are doing is thinking about things hypothetically. Once you actually have to deal with reality, though, it falls flat.

I only have two words for the anti-American Eurotwits, and the second one is "off".

I don't know about the European people but their governments have done an outstanding job of placing themselves as the enemy of the United States. The Muslims count them as enemies already and, as the Nazi Germany 60 years ago, they are trying - unwittingly - to start a war on all fronts. The problem is that they only see one enemy - the US. Somehow, they consider the Radical Muslims to be their allies in their holy war against America.

Well, they will loose to Muslims, and the Muslims will loose to us.

Not the best outcome for them, but acceptable to us.

Europeans are not stupid, they are blinded by the tight lock that the liberals have on the media in Europe.

Agreed. They've turned their backs on Christian values and are morally confused - unable to distinguish good from evil and paralyzed by moral relativism. One would hope that a note posted on Van Gogh's body with a knife calling for death to Holland, Europe, and the US might help them figure it out. But it's just a hope on my part.

Didn't the press go out their way to label Fortuyn a 'right wing extremist' and therefore apologize for the attackers to an extent? It will be more difficult for them to do that to an 'artist'.

One of Britain’s largest newspapers ran a headline asking “How Can 59 Million Americans Be So Dumb?

Dumb? The Euros spent half the last century engaged in mass slaughter. Not too bright, was that? Fascism, Communism, Dictatorshipism, all dumb ideas that came out of Europe.

The Euros really need to look in the mirror.

One of the best statements ever by Patton.

My own letter would simply be two words. I wonder if they are hyphenated?

Does anyone wonder why the Europeans are in denial? The average European lives in a culture that has been dominated by thought police for the last 3,000 years. Whether an Emperor, King, Pope or an elite gentry they have been told how and what to think. Add that to the Darwinism of the new world immigration you have a remaining population without the disposition or ability for free thinking. When now told by their socialist leaders and media mouth pieces "four legs good; two legs bad" they fall in line like they have for generations.

It also does not help that the sources of information are limited to primarily left sources.

The EU has a whole industry in making the USA their bogyman.

The EU whispers their desire to be a USEurope more powerful than the USA with the Euro replacing the Dollar.

Their continued endless failures on the left are lessons not learned.

Their need to boot the islamic ottoman empire are lessons not learned.

What Germany failed to do with bullets in europe, they are now doing with the euro (aka dutche mark)

"Europeans are not stupid, they are blinded by the tight lock that the liberals have on the media in Europe."

I don't believe this anymore, if I ever did. Europeans ARE stupid! The Europeans have always had complete access to all the information that we in the US have had. They watch and see everything we do here in the US, and more besides. There are now, and always have been, advocates of sanity in their midst, like the Austrian economists during an earlier era, the Churchillian elements of WWII, and like Orianna Fallaci today. But the Europeans have always rejected the truths of the benefits of freedom and liberty. They've chosen to follow the dark side. Let's finally admit this to ourselves, once and for all. The fact is, and its important to note this and accept it, that the Europeans generally are a bunch of ignorant and shiftless bums and thugs who have bought Marxism, socialism, and fascism hook, line, and sinker in all its incarnations, from Bonapartism to Hitlerism to Stalinism, and everything in between. The best individuals of their own communities have left Europe and populated this country, leaving behind the dreck and dunderheads to create a hellish backwater that explodes in chaos time and again. I don't expect anything from these people (my misbegotten ancestors) but more of the same.
