VINCENT D'Onofrio, the star of "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," passed out while shooting the hit TV series yesterday morning prompting insiders to gossip that the actor is "losing it.""Ever since John Kerry lost the election, [D'Onofrio] has lost his [bleep,]" said our on-set insider.
"He has been getting into fistfights with people, and when he passed out today, we all thought he was faking it. But then he insisted they call 911."

D'Onofrio, a big Kerry supporter, was said to be devastated over President Bush's re-election. "When PAGE SIX [last week] wrote about 'Law & Order' putting up signs forbidding political discussions on set, it was funny," our source said. "Those signs were put up because of [D'Onofrio]."
About a month before the election, D'Onofrio "insisted" on putting up anti-Bush posters and fliers, "and would attack anyone who disagreed with him," the spy added.

What a bunch of girley men. This is why we can never leave these people in charge of national security. The stress of a Kerry loss overwhelms to the point they can't "work" (it is only acting after all) without fainting. Some people are just hopeless
In any case, B'Lowhardfrio had better get his act together quick. The First Commandment of the Dick Wolf L&O formula is "EVERYONE is expendable." If Vinny causes too much trouble, Vinny will be replaced.
You're not going to like this one.
LOL I'd forgotten that role.
I can't stand his current act and after hearing this maybe his edgy detective isn't an act at all.
What a wussy. "Bring me my smelling salts, Penelope, or I shall faint awaaaaaay!"
The other interesting thing is that there were apparently differing opinions on the set. Mighty surprising since folks are supposed to be all of one mind. Guess only the ones who make large salaries get to have their say (b-b-but, lefties are for the LITTLE guy!).
No, I do not remember any of us acting like this when
Clinton was elected, then RE-ELECTED. This guy takes
himself way too seriously. It won't be too hard for me
to boycott him, I don't watch much tv any more. I'm sick
of the whole "celebrity mystique".
I have said the same thing. I worry about his safety. These people are seriously dangerous.
Kubrick was a genius.
(That said, Eyes Wide Shut is postively painful to watch, even with all the naked models.)
And my list of men to take to the Inaugural Ball grows shorter.
Another Hollyweirdo destroying his career for a failed cause.
He is ..
in a world ..
of [bleep]
Thanks for the picture, I didn't know the name. These loony tunes are scary.
>>Now, I ask you, do you remember any of us getting this upset when Clinton was reelected?<<
Okay, Ill admit it.
"I am in a world of sh*t"
"I've never seen sugar do that before."

Vincent D'Onofrio faints after rehearsal in New York
Associated Press
LOS ANGELES - Vincent D'Onofrio was taken to a hospital Wednesday after fainting in New York following a rehearsal of "Law & Order: Criminal Intent."
D'Onofrio had been rehearsing a strenuous scene including climbing before he fainted on location in Brooklyn, according to NBC Universal Television Studio, which produces the crime drama.
D'Onofrio, who stars in the show as police Detective Robert Goren, was not in ill health before the incident.
He was resting comfortably and was expected to be released quickly, the studio said.
I wonder if Dick Wolf will write an episode based on that headline?
