The TV version of the Shining (with Rebecca DeMornay and one of the brothers from Wings) was infinitely better LOL That thing was certainly more faithful to the book but sheesh, what a stinkbomb.

He's a bug from an alien planet, but don't let anyone know I was the one who tipped you off. 8^|

I have to admit I enjoy watching some of these libs meltdown, especially ones like him who try to bully others into thinking like they do.

For the life of me, I can't figure out what could possibly fit in the place of that "bleep" that makes the slightest bit of sense. I was wondering that too, actually. The best I could come up with was "lost his s**t", as phrase meaning "lost his mind", "lost his cool (i.e. composure)" or "went bonkers".
Searching for that phrase in Google turns up quite a few examples of it being used that way.

Well, Kubrick's one of those love him or hate him directors.
I've only seen Full Metal Jacket and The Shining. Don't care for Full Metal Jacket. Very disjointed and some scenes are inexplicably strange for no good reason. The Shining though, I think it is superb.

God help him though if the Scientologists get ahold of him.
The set-up is inevitable. First he'll be referred for counselling or at least antidepressants. With Cruise, Travolta, Ribisi and all the other Scientology freaks nearby, D'Onofrio will be a sitting duck.
If he's wacky now, he'll be dangerous after a Scientology auditing session.

I like his acting. When he's good, he's good. It also bears repeating that Hollywood liberals, to rephrase the lovely Laura Ingraham, should go back to what they do best: shut up and sing and shut up and act.

Lets all send D'Onofrio postcards from Canada. Maybe the health care system there can handle his manly fainting spells.

VINCENT D'Onofrio --- This thespian needs to get over himself. Move past the rage phase, grieving phase to the acceptance phase. Take a few Valium and call me in the morning.

Apparently there are more than a few devastated liberals in Hollywood. What irritates me is not that they are liberals but that they keep shoving their unwanted opinions in peoples' face in inappropriate settings. D'Onofrio has already forgotten what happen to Linda Rondstadt in Las Vegas this summer. He needs to chill.
