I'm wondering about OHIO
Mary Herrera (and Bill Richardson) are deeply saddened.
I can't imagine el mexicano Billy Richardson allowing Bush to win in NM. He still works for the Felon out here and is the bad example of a RAT in Aztlan clothing.
and the governor says "empty out two more closets"
Bush, George (i) Rep 372,693 49.99
Kerry, John Dem 364,360 48.88
No change for awhile
Well, I was a poll observer/watcher on election day. I was in an uber-democrat precinct in uber-liberal stronghold of Alachua county Florida (the University of Florida is here, so there's a ton of diseased liberal professors).
So, how prevalent was disenfranchisement in this precinct? None. Everything went very smoothly.
Any voter intimidation? None. Not from either side.
But, what about the provisional ballots?!
There was, hold on to your seats, 1 (1), provisional ballot for the whole day at this precinct and that provisional ballot was for a voter who was 1) NOT on the registered voter rolls in the precinct, 2) NOT on the registered voter roll at the county elections office, and 3) the voter didn't have any photo ID with signature (and, just so you know, any photo ID with a signature is considered ok to vote...even a Sam's card will do the trick).
Despite these requirements, the voter demanded to be able to vote, so the provisional ballot was given, the person cast their provisional vote. Now, I don't know the outcome of that specific provisional ballot, but it certainly wouldn't (and shouldn't) be a surprise if that vote was NOT counted, given the inability to verify who this person was.
[Aside: And, I'm somewhat embarrassed to say it, but this person was wearing a Bush/Cheney t-shirt, so if the vote didn't count, it probably went against Bush, not against Kerry.]
But, what about SPOILED BALLOTS?!
From 7:00 AM (when polls opened) until 3:38 PM (when I was replaced), there were 38 spoiled ballots. Myself and the democrat poll watcher, viewed each spoiled ballot before it was placed into a sealed envelope. Not 1 ballot was a "valid" ballot. Every spoiled ballot had a mark that would have made it difficult for the bubble-scan reader to properly record the vote. Many of the spoiled ballots had both candidates for one particilar race (not just the presidential balloting) marked. In ALL 38 cases, the voter was issued a new ballot and in ALL 38 cases, the voter made their vote and put it into the ballot machine. So, the spoiled ballots SHOULD NEVER COUNT because the voter is allowed to vote, PERIOD.
Simply put, idiots like Greg Palast simply don't know how spoiled ballots work or why a provisional vote would be not counted.
Now, I was in one precinct, in one county in Florida. There were 111,022 votes in 69 different precincts. There was 78% voter turnout in this county. My precinct was a medium-sized precinct, so I wouldn't imagine that there were too many wild differences from my precinct to another. But, if you quintupled that and made it 5 provisional ballots, it would only be 345 across the 69 precincts, which is 0.003%. And, these gesticulations don't matter anyway because chances are the provisional ballots would be LEGALLY disqualified because the voter wasn't registered, didn't present ID, or some of the other reasons why a ballot is LEGALLY disqualified.
The liberals just want everything and anything to count. Unforunately for them, it just doesn't work that way. Because they don't count every mistake that happened, doesn't make it unfair. In fact, BECAUSE election officials are following the law and NOT double counting spoiled ballots or allowing votes cast by someone who isn't even a registered voter, they are ensuring the fairness of the election.
Idiots, I tell yeah.
Latest update I have seen. Looks better today.
Anymore info on the State Police investigation?
Richardson will do anything to turn this around for Kerry.
I am beginning not to care after Bush's support for Specter and open-borders with Mexico/Amnesty.
