I think that's a heavyweight category," he said, then warned all comers: "I can hold my own." Guess all we need now to settle this is a willing red-stater and some airfare."

As a web developer, I often see these graphic designer guys...he weighs 236 because he's constantly drinking soda, munching on candy, sitting in front of a computer, eating his dinner and rarely dragging his ass out of his dungeon office...he keeps getting bigger and fatter and he sits at his computer which makes him feel all powerful.

Kicking his ass would take all of two seconds as you quickly jack him in the throat, then stab your thumb into his eye socket. He will lose all will to fight...and I would bet it could be done by a 5'4' 140 10th grader.

I'm 6'5" and about 230 (running a bit heavy these days).

I'm 46 and had open heart surgery last February. I feel better than since I was about 25 and rather game if need be but I'd rather not take a serious blow to the sternum just yet.

Been in dozens of fights ranging from chest butting trash talk nothings to knockdown hardcore bloody on the ground messes with no clear winner.

I fight best when angry or scared but still able to breath fairly normally.

No formal training other than having a semi-Great Santini dad (RIP) but I've learned that breathing and the preparedness to take a lick is key.

Most fights unless sucker punched end up on the ground where size can matter.

But....some of the toughest guys I ever saw where about George W Bush's size....not Toby Keith or Trace Adkins sized though I'd prefer not to fight either...lol


What amazes me most is that we have a Lefty pretending to be tuff....down here in the South...the only tuff Dems are maybe some black guys.


Best white guy I ever saw fight was in Mississippi and he was about 6'4" and 225 or so with arms that were magilla gorilla style to his knees....and a Chuck Conners jaw....baddest dude I ever knew personally....his name was Rip....famous in the Jackson Miss area in the 70s....some folks just have it.

Anyone interested in real fighting should check out those Ultimate Fighting videos...the real deal...and unless you are lucky...the ground is where it's won.

PS: My dad could whip my ass up until he died at 65 of a brain tumour. Before he got sick...fighting him was suicide.

PSII: Folks that trash talk either don't really want to fight or they are trying to geek up their pals to help out...this is quite common in youthful posse behavior. If you must fight someone...do not yak with them...just do it. Chances are they will retreat or at least you took the initiative....all that fair play stuff is the lore of grade school fight etiquette....not when your life may be in danger from a crazy choke out or series of head kicks from some looney.

....which brings us back to firearms...lol...why take the chance?
