This would be more good news in a week than I can stand. Now if we could just do something about those two goofy Senators and McDermot.

Yeah, even that Leftist kook Pelosi had to take McDermott to the woodshed.

McDermot will retire from Congress. He'll never be voted out. He gets 70-80 percent of the vote, and barely spends a dime on his campaign.

We have a senator, however, who will be vulnerable in 2006 if we have the right candidate...

Great tagline. Has anyone else figured out the acronym for Post Election Selection Trauma?

Unfortunately, I will have to disagree with you on this one. Can'twell is completely safe. We simply don't have any credible candidates to take her on. The only ones who might make a credible run at Senate ran this year. McKenna might one day, but he can't run that soon. Same for Rossi, win or lose.

The only way I could see her losing is if Jennifer Dunn decided to run, but Dunn clearly doesn't want to, as she just retired from the house and didn't run for Senate or Governor.

It all depends on how many votes are left to count in King County vs eastern WA.

I personally don't like Rossi but I like him better than I do Gregoire. He's the least of two evils. So I'm saying: YYYYYeeeeessss!!!!

Yeah, I wish Dunn had challenged Osama Bin Murry. Dunn is smart, attractive, and an excellent speaker. She had the best chance to defeat OBM.

I don't know - she's not really all that well liked by her own party, especially the less-radical elements...

Don't give up hope yet. We have time. She's high on my priority list of racces for 2006.

Yup. I lived in her district years ago, and found her to be a great congresswoman. I don't know if she has an interest in running, as she just retired, but maybe, just maybe, if she had a groundswell of support maybe she'd reconsider?

Couldn't hurt to ask ;0)

If she needs a push, the by all means, push! The plain and simple fact is that the winner of the '06 Washington Senate race will either be Cant[vote]well or Dunn.

Does this include today's count? I thought today's count would include a big chunk of the remaining King County (Dem) votes.
