Let's blame Bush, rove and the Mexicans.
Just forget about all the businesses that hire them illegally.

Just forget about all the businesses that hire them illegally. I'd prefer to levy fines and prosecute them.

Although the threat of terrorist infiltrations is the main reaon for closing the borders, your reason above is another good reason not to let them in.
Just as you stated, they're illegal, as in criminal. BTW, how many illegal aliens are you and people you know are currently employing?

I would prefer to employ all of them for a short while in building a 10" block or electric fence - preferably electric and them deport them after fingerprinting, photographing, dna sampling, etc. Then if they come back the second time they should be able to go to a detention center for 6 months to a year on the same conditions of a Mexican jail. Family brings their food or money to buy it; no a/c; etc.

Too late. A recent Time Magazine report found that prosecution for illegal hirings are down 95% since 1990.
Please ask your congressional "representatives" why this is so.
