It's sad that on Conservative website, threads such as this fall into the shadows and threads with titles such as, "OMGCHENEYANDBUSHARESOHOTOMG!!!!!" get tons of posts. LOL... Ain't it the truth.

Just as you stated, they're illegal, as in criminal. BTW, how many illegal aliens are you and people you know are currently employing
Well, since I'm active duty Navy teaching navigation to midshipmen, I'd have to say ZERO.
My point is this: The torrent of illegal immigrants might be slightly diminished if there were not so many businesses willing to hire illegals.

Just like the terrorist they just apprehended coming in from Mexico -- but only thanks to his roommate giving them the warning -- and on his way to meet with a fellow terrorst named Khalid at the El Paso airport --- scary after this guy said he wished he was flying the airplanes on 9-11. What better place than the border to set this kind of deal up?

The source told the FBI that Walker, who was then in Mexico, had set up a meeting with "Khalid" at the El Paso airport.

Do you believe President Bush should listen to Mexican President Fox's request for an even less restrictive border aimed at facilitating trade and migration?

We are then in agreement.
Sorry for the misunderstanding.

I fully agree that we have too many employed even though the employers know (or suspect) they are illegal, however, a set of papers including green cards are easy to buy. The cost of the coyote,(from $2,000 to $10,000) plus the cost of staying in a "safe drop house" until their mule is ready to relay them on, plus papers, plus food gives me to wonder just who are these poor people who just want "a better life for their families".
For any who don't know, a coyote is a person who brings the illegals across. A mule guides, transports, aids, and abets these criminals. All are breaking our immigration laws.
IMHO they need to be dealt with like criminals - both the mule, the coyote and their cargo, which is what the coyotes think of them as - human cargo. So should the employer who hires them. We have laws in AZ that are suppose to do this. Obviously they aren't inforced.
Also, I wonder just why they are so poor as to come here to work in the fields and kitchens. Doesn't Mexico have a productive oil field? Aren't the leaders of their country quite wealthy? They don't seem to be trying to improve the living conditions themselves, unless they are by giving aid to the poor that become our illegals!

I took my wife to Big Bend National Park last month. It is amazing how easy to cross the border. There's just no way to stop illegal crossings at present. We drove our Jeep inland from the paved roads and saw a lot of opportunity for mischief. Great Park though!

Sad, it probably won't be a great park for long as it is being used as an illegal alien toilet and highway.
That's why even environmentalist groups (the honest ones) are starting to get worried about unchecked illegal alien legions pouring over the border.

MISSING CROP DUSTER
By Michelle Malkin · November 09, 2004 08:09 AM
TSA wants to know: Have you seen a stray Piper PA 25 Pawnee crop-dusting aircraft? It was stolen last week in Mexico.
"Although there is currently no indication that this has any connection to terrorist activity," the TSA said, "the theft is cause for concern. Past information indicates that members of al-Qa'ida may have planned -- or may still be planning -- to disperse biological or chemical agents from cropdusting aircraft."
(Photo of the aircraft is included in this PDF file.)
TSA doesn't mention it, but fugitive Saudi pilot and suspected al Qaeda operative Adnan Shukrijumah remains the subject of an FBI manhunt along the U.S.-Mexico border and was reportedly tracked to Sonora, Mexico in August. Shukrijumah has been linked by federal authorities to Zacarias Moussaoui (who researched crop dusters), Jose Padilla and al Qaeda's alleged dirty bomb plot. More here.
Could be something. Could be nothing. Like those missing propane cylinders. And that still-missing gas tanker stolen in Jersey.
