That's what six masked men – dressed in black SWAT gear labeled "police" and armed with what appeared to be high-powered assault rifles and handguns – yelled as they swarmed into a small welding business that also doubles as the home of Camilo Rodea, his wife and two small sons.
"They said, 'Give me the marijuana!' " Mr. Rodea said Tuesday afternoon, a few hours after the attempted robbery about 10:20 a.m. in the 9400 block of Bermuda Road in southeast Oak Cliff. "I said I didn't have any. "They said, 'If you love your son, you'll do it.' ... I didn't know what to think."
After smashing some windows during a frantic search, kicking Mr. Rodea to the ground and pointing guns at his children, ages 3 years and 2 weeks, the robbers came up empty-handed.
As they left, one frustrated attacker struck Mr. Rodea's wife, Maria Lopez, in the face with his rifle, opening a bloody gash above her right eye. Her wound was still bleeding hours later as she cradled their newborn in her arms.
The bandits then headed two doors down, where they found five construction workers fixing an empty house. They ordered all of them to the ground in the cramped back yard, pointed guns at their heads, demanded drugs, and then stole their wallets.
The bandits piled into a white van and a black Chevrolet Suburban and headed toward nearby Interstate 45. They remained at large Tuesday evening.

It would not surprise me at all to learn the "policias" were not only illegal, but members of a gang like Mara Salvatrucha. They're well-versed in home invasions, and probably use them to get their hands not only on money and drugs, but handguns, as they are in very high demand.
I met an older woman (50ish) who said she loved home invasions. She loved the chaos, causing all that terror, and being in control... she never killed anyone I think, and thankfully, she's now in prison for meth manufacturing.
These stories are scarier - invasion, robbery, rape, murder.
I need both a gun and a dog living this close to the border.
I didn't even notice that. Well at least we know the vehicles are "black" and "white".

I show a minimum of at leats seven people registered at that address within the last year and a half, four born in the 70's, one in '69 and one in '58. All have different last names and all have a squeeky clean record. Illegal Alien clearing house maybe???

This is another reason to keep a rifle handy (an AR-15 with 1X optic works great) around the house.
And have a plan for utilizing should the bad guys kick in your door.
