NEAR FALLUJAH, Iraq - Iraqi troops have found "hostage slaughterhouses" in Fallujah where foreign captives were held and killed, the commander of Iraqi forces in the city said Wednesday.
Troops found CDs and records of people taken captive in houses in the northern part of Fallujah, Maj. Gen. Abdul Qader Mohammed Jassem Mohan told reporters.
"We have found hostage slaughterhouses in Fallujah that were used by these people and the black clothing that they used to wear to identify themselves, hundreds of CDs and whole records with names of hostages," the general said at a military camp near Fallujah.
He was unsure if the hostage records included the names of any of the at least nine foreigners still in the hands of kidnappers — most notably, British aid worker Margaret Hassan, French journalists Christian Chesnot and Georges Malbrunot and an unidentified American worker for a Saudi company.
"OK, but did they put panties on anyone's head? Did they photograph anyone wearing a dog collar/leash?"

I appreciate the display of ordinance, but the bulk of them left three weeks ago. At least the ones critical to command and control. The ones left behind were dead wood so to speak.

I have often said that frying lib posters to this forum is a bad idea. There are many "moderate" fence sitters who lurk here; all they need to come over to the conservative side is exposure to the ravings of a lib lunatic. I firmly believe that for every lib lunatic post allowed here, at least one lurker signs on to the conservative program. Rush has a policy, or had a policy, to put lib callers at the front of the call-in line. Why do you think he does this?
We should be giving lib posters all of the hanging rope that they want, yet the Mods seem to fry them for the slightest offense. If all libs were banned from FR we would only be preaching tho the choir, as they say.
Tie a bunch of regular Iraqi folks to poles in the center of town and place a pile of rocks next to each pole. Hang a sign for each candidate on each person's neck. Whichever person lives the longest will reflect the winning candidate. If it's close, they'll round up more for a recount with pleasure.
