Regarding your inquiry about Canadians looking for a more conservative climate and moving south:
Since most Canadian conservatives are not girlie-men like the sad-sack liberal election-losers down south, we will all stay right here in Canada and stand up and fight to win elections in favor of conservative candidates.
Once that job is done, and we have some extra cash that will naturally stay in our pockets rather than be paid in exorbitant Canadian taxes as they are now, we might consider taking up an extra vacation home in Hawaii, California, Florida, or elsewhere.
But no, we love Canada and will straighten it out, even to the point of defending it someday with an actual military.
Our last Canadian Census reveals that 70 percent of Canadians identify themselves as Christians just as they do in the United States, so it seems to us that most of North America is part of that nefarious big bad evil value-plagued "Jesusland", and it's really just a question of running on conservative values and getting the non-urban vote out here -- just like you all did in the US.
Thousands of Canadians move south every year -- and it has little to do with politics -- and more to do with increasing their level of income, gaining more freedom, and getting health care -- and other great reasons, not the least of which is the weather. The more conservative US has proven to be a model of success and Canadians are mostly envious -- some, especially notable Liberal parliamentarians, to the point of outrage and jealousy and hideously embarrassing anti-American name-calling, much like many other people in other countries of the world. Osama bin Laden to name but one. Very few Americans move to Canada by choice, as you probably know, and that should probably tell you everything you need to know.

Canadian conservatives to US liberals: "Take off, you hosers."
Excellent!!
It would have been interesting if it were happening, U.S. leftists moving to Canada and Canadian conservatives moving to the U.S. If you were to move here, you would receive a friendly welcome.
Wishing you the best up north!
Give 'em hell, Canada!
I think Molson tastes like moose pee, anyway.
ROFL! Canadian conservatives have to have a good sense of humor to get them through the day, I suspect.
AWWW! I was hoping for a tit for tat thing. A Canadian conservative for an (un)American treasonous liberal pusbag. :(
But I understand your sentiment. I would stay and fight too if the Fraud won (but then again I don't have a choice :P).
All righty, Godspeed and kick some boot, eh?
Let's see some Canadian "Bushes". :D
Thanks Joel. Well said. Go Canada. If we can do it, so can you.
I'm not sure that's the best approach to dealing with The Daily Show. No matter what you say, they will twist it and try to make you look like an idiot. (I would have told them to go F themselves.)
Whatever help you need you got it.
(Fair warning: If we can foist our libs on you we will)
At least you all kept beer brewing traditions alive until the microbrewery revolution saved us all from the scourge of Bud & Busch....
Only wussies cut and run when Satan gets re-elected.
(Satan=Bush, from their p.o.v.)
It IS moose pee. That's why I love it! And Dos Equis too (donkey pee).
I would have ignored them, myself. Their whole goal is to make conservatives look stupid.
How about a swap. 55 million american liberals for however many canadian conservatives.
It took courage and guts to tame the Canadian wilderness. The original settlers were tough people who stood and fought when the situation required it. I am willing to bet there are a whole lot of Canadians who still retain that spirit but I doubt many of them are in the current government.
Agreed. There were some FReepers who post that in the event the Fraud gets elected, they would leave. Were that to happen (Thank the Lord who see through it that Pres. Bush won) my first reaction would be to rally the troops and keep on fighting.
Although the idea of Canadian conservatives coming down to the good ole USA is nice, I'm glad that they are not willing to surrender Canada to the forces of evil.
Can anybody yet explain a Canadian contribution to the culinary world for me? Canadian bacon does not count. Calling ham bacon is amusing but not a food trend.
