Your English is excellent!
I often read about Iraq at www.rferl.org
I read Russian so I go there to practice. I am learning Arabic, too.
I visited Amsterdam many years ago as a student. We went to Ann Frank's house. WE all read her diary in school, so that was really neat to see.
We saw some good art galleries, too. The Rembrants. The food was great. The stairs were way too steep when I carried my backpack.
Of course, now I can barely carry my briefcase up the stairs at my school.
You might go to www.rferl.org to see informed American opinion.
You should not equate Bush's policies with what you see here some of the time.

Cool. I am ashamed to admit that I haven't visited the AF House... even though I live in Utrecht (half an hour train ride). I visited NY though! In 2000 so I was priviliged to mount the WTC. I must say that almost every European (despite their criticism about US policy) love America and I am planning a coast to coast road trip through America next summer. Thanks for the URL! I will add it to my fav next to BBC, CNN, MSNBC, FoxNews, NYT. I am quite a news junkie. I know that I don't have to look at FR for the average US opinion but the Dutch media are slightly biased in their reporting about America I must admit.
