"It may not take long to capture the city, but nothing will have been resolved. It will be a symbolic victory," French military strategist Jean-Louis Dufour <<<
Jean-Louis Dufour, whose entire military strategy consist of waving a white flag, criticizes the USA and Iraqi Army?
Take your symbolism and put it where the french like it best: In the rear!

One of my favorite photos from WW II is that of the Frenchman who could only weep as the Germans marched down the Champs Elysee. A symbolic victory? Do you mean like us letting that fraud De Gaulle lead the troops into Paris as if they actually had something to do with it? The pansy did not even approve of Operation Overlord, nor would he go on the radio to ask the French people to cooperate. French military casualties foe The Battle of Normandy ZERO!!!!
