As far as I am concerned, everyone made their point and Specter doesn't dare block any nominees. I don't trust Specter but I trust Santorum.

The White House would never let Specter run that committee if they weren't positive he was on their side.

Harder for dems to filibuster when the head of the judiciary committee is a "perceived" moderate, so could work to our favor.

Look, we're going to battle any Supreme Court nominees - it's just a fact. The important part is to get the district court and appeals court judges in - that's just as much a huge part of our future (trust me, I'm a trial lawyer, I see the BIG difference every day between liberal and conservative judges).

I trust Santorum AND the President, but they lack judgement in this case.

Why trust this man a all?? The reptile has both already burnt W and Santorum.
