All I did was to make a statement that says just the opposite of yours; and with the same authority.
My point was that if the responses are just going to be nitpicks at what I've said and unsupported opinion statements, then there's no point in me continuing to explain what I was trying to say. It has nothing to do with me being offended, but if no substantive response is received, then there's no reason for me to continue responding.
