"They were emotionally paralyzed, shocked and devastated. As painful as this is, it might be the very shock they need to jerk them out of their delusions and into reality.
If this doesn't work, about all we can offer them is tranquilizer darts and straightjackets.
By the way--has anybody heard from Al Gore since the election?

So much for
mental health. How's Gunnar Berge's leg doing? He's been kicked in it so many times since he gave the "Nobel Peace Prize" (what a hoot!) to Jimmy Carter he's gotta be in a wheelchair by now.
Say, Gunnar! I guess the re-election of President Bush was a real "kick in the leg"! How ya doin, fella?
(I was trying to think of some outrageous sarcasm about who's going to receive the "Peace Prize" next--but after Yassar Arafat, what can you say?)

Are you feeling depressed over the election of Bush? Do you wish you were dead? Is that what is bothering you bubbie?
Well maybe this will help.

Let's not forget that these are the same people who couldn't figure out the butterfly ballot. Did we really think they had gotten some smarts in the last four years? LOL!

Let me see if I've got this straight: These are the people who claim to be superior to us -- morally, intellectually, and ever other possible way -- yet they crumble in a heap of sobs and have to be medicated when their candidate loses?!

Excellent commentary!
I just realized that I dealt with surviving (and witnessing) 9/11 better than these fools are coping with losing an election.

Exactly. It is kind of sickening, that these same people were more than willing to "look inward" when 9/11 happened (i.e., "what did we do to make these people so mad?). But, when it comes to their political defeat, they aren't willing to look inward (i.e., "at what point did our politics become so out of touch with the American people?", or even the exact same question..."why are they so mad at us"?)
So, the blame-America-first crowd apparently has no ability to translate their logic to their won devastating defeat.

If they would have sought therapy before they voted, they would be celebrating with us.

There are definitely people depressed by John Kerrys loss, and this can easily lead to suicides like the one we saw up in New York this weekend, Gordon said. Gads! Here we are witnessing the birth of a legend. Never mind that there is NO evidence to indicate he killed himself because of the election, and there exists evidence that it was despair over his love for two women, this will live on for eternity in liberal theology as "that guy who killed himself over Bush winning..."

... were more than willing to "look inward" when 9/11 happened ... But, when it comes to their political defeat, they aren't willing to look inward... That is an outstanding point. The 'Root-Cause' crowd does seem to be eerily quiet, doesn't it?

[ By the way--has anybody heard from Al Gore since the election? ] Actually, yes ... Algore will be starting his own Mutual Fund investment firm aimed at fledging technology companies which will: 1) Develop clean and renewable energy sources, 2) Market those clean renewable energy sources with lavish 'investment' by 'concerned citizens' such as Michael Moore and Bruce Springsteen, 3) Watch as their 'innovations' crash-n-burn in the marketplace due to impracticality and higher overhead than return on investment, 4) Blame the 'red counties' as being a bunch of idiot moron know-nothings who don't recognize *value* when they see it, and 5) File for bankruptcy ...... Anyone wanna invest in this enterprise ??? Please immediately notify your 401-K managers if you do ...

[ Gads! Here we are witnessing the birth of a legend. Never mind that there is NO evidence to indicate he killed himself because of the election, and there exists evidence that it was despair over his love for two women, this will live on for eternity in liberal theology as "that guy who killed himself over Bush winning..." ] There are several inconsistancies with the story of this so-called 'Bush-won-so-I'm-committing-suicide-at-Ground-Zero' story, even before the true facts came out that he was just some lovelorn nutcase out to make a 'statement' .... First was that he got there via the subway station on Church Street, then somehow shimmied himself into the GZ area (I call it a gigantic HOLE in the ground!!!) and then shot himself with a shotgun. First of all, NYC has some of the toughest gun control laws in the country ... it just isn't possible that someone could be riding the subway carrying a damn shotgun, especially some hick from Georgia (!!!) .... OK OK OK, ya say, but as the story turned out he *wasn't* riding the subway, but had driven to NYC and parked his car a block from Ground Zero ...... fair enuff ...... But'Ground Zero' is one of the most heavily patrolled, most heavily guarded security sites in NYC, and with good reason(!), so I find it hard to imagine that some schlep could park his car (ever try to find a parking space *anywhere* in NYC??), walk out carring a damn shotgun, and then shimmy his way past the fences and security at Ground Zero, and then shoot himself with it ??? Help me out here, you'se in middle America, but how does one shoot himself with shotgun so easily ??? And nobody even noticed ??? I found this story quite uncredible from the outset, but now we're finally getting the real facts, it was just a lovelorn suicide just like any other, and the Bush victory had nothing to do with it ...

Schoolers disclosure comes after the weekend discovery of a Kerry volunteers corpse at Ground Zero in New York City. Georgia resident Andrew Veal, 25, reportedly killed himself with a shotgun blast to the head due to Kerrys loss and a girlfriend problem. I can understand them being upset their guy lost
But this people are NUTS!
