Fellow FReepers: As our brave troops undertake Operation Phantom Fury to rid the US (and all of the world) of terrorist insurgents, it is only fitting that we carry out the battle on our homeland by fighting the terrorist of unborn babies, Arlen Specter.
Here are the various things you can do to participate in "Operation Phantom Jury":
1) Call your Senator, along with Senator Bill Frist and let them know that we will not stand for Arlen Specter as Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee. Use terms that they will understand (i.e.: staying home from the polls next election cycle). Senate address and phone numbers can be found HERE.
2) Sign the petition at NotSpecter.com
3) Visit stopspecter.savethegop.com for many great ideas!
4) Make it a part of your daily ritual to phone the Senators. For those of you with cell phones that permit national long-distance calls it won't even cost extra dollars!
Let's protect our Homeland! Let Operation Phantom Jury commence!

This Specter thing is over, there will be an announcement tommorrow or Wednesday.
Specter gets the nod as Judiciary Committee Chairman, not before he places his cajones in a jar of formaldehyde to be placed on the desk of the President for posterity.
