A lawyer for Jack "Dr. Death" Kevorkian asked the Michigan parole board Monday to recommend the governor release his client from prison. The request comes a week after the U.S. Supreme Court refused to consider an appeal by the euthanasia advocate, WWJ-AM, Detroit, reported. The former pathologist's lawyer asked the board to recommend either a pardon or a commutation, either of which would free the 75-year-old activist, who has been in prison since he was convicted of second-degree murder in the 1998 poisoning of Thomas Youk, a Lou Gehrig's disease victim whose death Kevorkian called a mercy killing. Youk's death was videotaped and shown on CBS's 60 Minutes. This is the second time Kevorkian has requested a pardon or commutation. The state parole board voted against his first request a year ago.
The only way Kevorkian should get out of prison early is to provide treatment for Yassar Arafat.
Michael Schiavo and his attorneys and Judge Greer are not any better than Kervorkian and yet they get to slide. Go figure. http://www.terrisfight.org
Good answer!
He was a punk. They let him go once, and he kept right on doing it.
I say let him out and fund him to hold group "therapy" sessions.
You mean they haven't executed him yet?
Let me think...Ahhhh... No.
He could be released under codition that he would "mercy kill" himself. He can do that in jail and save some taxpayer money.
Let him go.
Go to follywood that is, and he can only pratice on liberals, and all the money he earns has to go to the RNC
Some of our Canadian friends will thank us.
PS Jack, you'll need a 55 gal. drum---> Michael Moore is waiting !!!
They didn't arrest Kevorkian the first time around though. Felos brags of killing thousands of people already and as long as he has the state's authorization and a blind judge who says that he saw clear and convincing evidence, thousands more will die.
Eh, just let the guy die in prison, forget the death penalty, he's getting old anyway.
I say let him stay where he is. He can contemplate his own stupidity and powerlessness as an old man.
Since he's too old and sick to stay in jail he should assist his own suicide. He's really good at it.
Yes. There is a 'hugh' market in which he could have capitalised upon.
About 50,000,000 democrats.
Kevork' would make more money in six months than Soros did in two years.
I'm 'series' 'two'. ROFLOL.
"Is there any reason this guy shouldn't die in prison?"
"Under a government which imprisons any unjustly, the true place for a just man is in prison." - Henry David Thoreau
I say leave him in.
Give the guy a break! Impose the death sentence.
