NEAR FALLUJAH, Iraq - More than 4,000 U.S. Marines and Army troops punched their way into northeastern Fallujah on Monday, kicking off a massive assault dubbed Operation Phantom Fury that seeks to put an end to half a year of insurgent control of the Sunni Muslim city.
The prelude to the assault on the Askari neighborhood was a crushing air and artillery bombardment of the city that rose to a crescendo by Monday evening, with U.S. strike jets dropping bombs around the clock and big guns pounding the city every few minutes with high-explosive shells.
Meanwhile, insurgents in Baghdad and nearby Ramadi tried to keep up the pressure on the coalition forces with new attacks, including one on a Catholic church in the capital.
Earlier Monday U.S. troops had fought their way into the city's western outskirts, seizing two bridges over the Euphrates River and helping Iraqi soldiers take the city's main hospital in the first stage of a major assault on the insurgent stronghold.

You are probably aware of it but, Lazzeroni puts out a very nice round also. I have a stock Warbird and I liked it so much I had a Custom Made. Very fast and Accurate. Some say the fastest 30 cal on the planet but I don't push it that hard.
http://lazzeroni.com/ they can definitely reach out and touch something/body.

Tell Fox, please, if you write, that WHAT IN THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THEM? THEY HAVE A NATIONAL, SOCIAL, PATRIOTIC AND CULTURAL OBLIGATION to first and foremost report how it is going with Our Boys against the enemy down in F-Town, as opposed to Scott Frikkin Peterson. Next they'll have some Michael Jackson breaking news. Sheesh.

Next questions: 100,000 civilians still in city (est) fear of lots of civilian casualities?I heard over the weekend that civilians fled Fallujah, and had been fleeing for days and weeks and months. That only leaves the insurgents.

There was a telling look posted awhile back at campaign contributions by the different networks. Fox had way more going to the GOP but ONLY compared to the other networks. The Fox staff contributed about 3 times more to Kerry.

Rummy indicates the decision has been made by all parties to start and to FINISH in Fallujah when asked if Allawi could stop it at any point..skillfully put.(I love Rummy at a presser!) It has to be, otherwise we would not look so good. Remember the last Fallujah assualt that was suspended the terrorist and their misinformed worshippers were dancing in the streets and bragging. They even came up with at least one song about Fallujah and how they were victorious, even though the misguided, ignorant, blood lustful murderers were wrong.
