Speaking as someone who spent a considerable portion of his professional career working among Latinos 1. You can't generalize as they are as divided by race, nationality and dare I say culture as any other multinational block and 2. while many, if not most blacks, I encounter believe that they can't make it without affirmative action or government jobs, most Latinos I've met (admitedly, I know more Latinos than blacks or Asians), if they are upwardly mobile, believe in "shoving for themselves" and starting their own businesses or developing their careers apart from the racial spoils system.
Anyway, I think AA is an overrated issue anyway. It really only comes into play with government jobs and, to a lesser extent, college admissions. Besides, women of all races have benefitted more from AA than anyone else, which makes it difficult to repeal.
