WASHINGTON - Republicans cheered President Bush's reelection - and apparently so did America's enemies.Jihadist blogs are full of celebratory messages by Islamic extremists who say the American people declared war on Islam by reelecting Bush, according to translations of Web site messages by the Search for International Terrorist Entities Institute.
"I wonder who became happy after the declaration of war by the American people in electing Bush," wrote one jihadist using the name of Jordanian terror kingpin Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. "There is no doubt that the mujahedeen are the ones rejoicing for the approach of Allah's victory, as the infidels know well that their war is a lost cause."
A Web user named "Abdessamad" told sympathizers in another Internet posting that Bush's netting of more than 270 electoral votes means that "the American people approve and endorse this pig's actions."
"This is a call to the jihad," Abdessamad wrote.
The messages were put online on Nov. 3, the day Sen. John Kerry conceded the race to Bush, SITE Institute director Rita Katz said.
Another Web posting claimed that Allah wanted a GOP victory to ensure America broadens the war on terror to Somalia, where Al Qaeda was behind local warlords' downing of two Army Blackhawk choppers in 1993.
"Without Bush, there will be no chance for the deployment of the American Army in Somalia," wrote "Abu Maarek Al-Sunni." "This is what the mujahedeen want. This is our biggest practical victory."
But another extremist said a Kerry win would not have mattered.
"Everyone is watching the American elections closely, not because they wish for the victory of this dog or that miserable one [Kerry]," wrote "Commander." "It is the same difference, as they are all blasphemers, and our jihad will continue against the one or the other."

Could you imagine the celebrations had Bush lost? Bin Laden would have taken all the credit and it would have been as crushing a defeat for freedom as a battlefield defeat.
These people need one heck of a spanking. I don't know how many defeats they need before they see that Allah wants them defeated.

The 527s spent nearly half a billion dollars to unseat President Bush. Imagine what they could have done with that money if they had targetted terrorism or charities.
