Press Release: Vietnam Vets for the Truth, a spontaneously organized group of Vietnam veterans and their supporters whose mission was to oppose John Kerry, gathered at Nordic Lodge in Charlestown, RI, on November 6th to celebrate the success of their efforts and to honor John O'Neill, Swift Boat veteran and co-author of "Unfit for Command." Some eighty diners enjoyed the best the sea and the farm can deliver as they heard O'Neill and others congratulate the hundreds of volunteers who contributed their time and treasure in the recently concluded campaign.
I know it was a wonderful evening for everyone who there. I wish we could have all attended, but we celebrated in our own way.
