Last night a Victory Dinner was held to honor the men of Vietnam Vets for The Truth, the men who held the KERRY LIED rally that many Freepers attended.
I was the videographer for the event, and was honored to be aqsked to do so by Jeff Epstein from Vietnam Vets for The Truth.
Thanks Race. It's good to know these Veterans are still motivated to continue the fight.
I can't begin to describe how much I appreciate, and honor, John O'Neill and the Swiftboaters. They were courageous sailors in Viet Nam thirty years ago, they are courageous warriors even today. God bless them all.
We owe great praise to all Viet Nam vets. And thanks to the swifties to help defeat that coward Kerry!
HOORAY FOR THE SWIFTEES!!!!
They fought hard to tell the truth and to redeem their place in history, and they won. This is a great moment for all Vietnam veterans who were horribly slandered. We owe them so much for their help.
Thank you, but to be fair, the second half of my post is from Winston Churchill's speech about the pilots in the battle of Britain.
Raoul, you do look good but get back on your diet.
Sure hoping that some of these Swiftboat Heros are at the Freeper Ball on Jan 20. It would be a pleasure to thank them personally.
I am familiar with Churchill's speech, but your use of it with the rest of comment was perfect and worth repeating.
Updated photo from Jeff Epstein, with John O'neill and his authoritive book, UNFIT FOR COMMAND
From left to right: Jerry (Sorry, I forgot his last name, but he is a faithful Vietnam Vet working with Ted Sampley, Jeff Epstein, John O'neill, and the right arm of Doctor Raoul.
These good men are all heroes. We owe them so much.
You must have had the crunchy, cold peeled shrimp.
My best memory is turning around in the buffet line and shaking Mr. O'Neill's hand and thanking him for "...giving Ted Kopel the World's Biggest Weggie that night." Kopel is such a crude butcher when it comes to propoganda, I'm glad that O'Neill stood his ground and rattled Ted.
I'd like to believe that this turncoat will resign sometime during or after the conclusion of this session of Congress. Unfortunately, I don't think that will be the case.
Seeing as how his lifelong ambition to seize the Executive branch of government has been thwarted-in no small part due to the heroic efforts of the Swift Boat Vets-and the Dems have no shot of recapturing the U.S. Senate in the next two elections, you would think that this would be an opportune time for Kerry to retire.
However, I just don't see it happening.
I had all 3!
They had battered and fried, also! :)
It was great. A bit far from Philly, but if you are in the area, I'd recommend it to everyone.
"Listening" to you all talk about the dinner sure makes a person's mouth water! Thanks for conveying our gratitude. Whether you realize it or not you unofficially represent a great big part of our country....
You're welcome. Hard not to talk about the food. It's an experience. It was a great to be there and meet the others we had only seen and heard about. Race and I had already met Jerry and Larry in front of Kerry's Georgetown mansion.
Did someone invite them to the Freeper's Ball? Thought I might contact our new Republican Congressman (after decades of a "D" representative) and invite him to drop by.....Am still hoping to make it to DC for the festivities!
Amen. Vietnam veterans have now had their homecoming. And they are now recognized as the heroes they were and are--without their efforts I don't believe the traitor Kerry would have been defeated.
God Bless you Swifties for your service to our country! And may there be a special place in heaven for John O'Neill for putting up with vicious assaults for telling the truth over the past 35 years. You are a true hero, Sir.
