Governor coy on helping President Bush carry Ohio
SCHWARZENEGGER CLAIMS TO FEAR BACKLASH FROM HIS WIFE
As politics watchers will recall, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger campaigned for President Bush in Columbus, Ohio, just days before the election, in which that same state boosted the president to re-election.
So was it the Terminator who finally terminated the chances of Democratic challenger John Kerry? One unnamed Schwarzenegger adviser told the Los Angeles Times that ``we'll take our share of credit,'' even though Kerry carried Franklin County (where Columbus is located) handily.
But publicly, the governor demurred on that subject, mindful that his home state, and first lady Maria Shriver, favored Kerry.

Now who's the girly man?
I think the "Governator" is being hyped up for more than he is worth. The argument has been made that Tinseltown had a negligble effect on the election and I believe this applies to Schwarzenegger as well. He is very popular in Liberal CA and with the moderates of that state, but I really don't think it carries across the nation. I would not support his candidacy for the Presidency if it was constitutionally possible. I also don't want the Constitution changed to allow foreign-borned citizens to run for the Presidency.
Arnold is no girly man. This is his schtick and he is good at it.
We cannot have this guy as President.. Nix that constitutional ammendment in Congress now.
If this guy isn't going to stand up to his wife, how is he going to stand up to terrorists.
My take? "Jackie O." complex. Onassis was no leftist.
He was afraid to compaign CA for Bush because he would upset the Dems.
GIRLY MAN.
I've got a liberal boyfriend. It's very difficult. I'm not too pleased with his announcement that he's going to submit to sorryeveryone.com. Too bad there isn't a "neenerneenereveryone.com" or something.
Probably because he wants to keep his job.
I'll give him this.. Arnold is not stupid.

Mrs. Kezekiel is even more right wing than I am. She stuck it to me recently because I said something nice about Guliani, but we were both celebrating on election night so I can't exactly relate to the Governator's problem. Always marry your own kind in religion and politics.
Ah-nold isn't coy. He says things for shock value just to get a rise out of interviewers and the media. he says these things and then laughs like he!!. I don't always agree with him but it is fun to watch him jerk their chains!
Arnie is just hedging his bets...if the Repubbies insist on sticking to their ridiculous 'Constitution' keeping Arnnie from 'his destiny' then perhaps the Dems will treat him better
I doubt Ahnold in search of his true glory cares much for which party gets him there when it comes right down to it...
He isn't really even an American imo.....he has dual citizenship for cryin out loud....
Why not elect a former KGB now US businessman from San Jose or George Soros for that matter..
The Founding Fathers knew EXACTLY what they were doing when they created our written in stone document...
If if our so called citizens wannabe leaders don't think so
IMO
Repubs and cross-over dems put him in office. And will take him out. I'm pleased with some things he promised and delievered, but seriously concerned about one main issue. The Budget.. He promised to "let the sun shine in". He hasn't. If he does not deliver on this, and cut the waste and spending to fund illegal alien benefits, he will be gone.. Bring on Tom McClintock. If we are at gridlock in the Assembly, businesses will continue to leave and CA will continue to be an economic drag to the rest of the country. The Blue Fringe on the left coast must be dealt with.
I seriously would love this state divided into 2 states.. The Titty-Coast of social waste and mentally diseased, and the rest of us.
The majority voice of this state has been abused, and ignored too long.. The 55 electorals really belonged to Bush. This has got to be more representative of the peoples voice.
ROFL ... are you married?
My 17 year old daughter asked my a week ago, why I will chase down 2 twenty year old boys and take back a Bush sign but am afraid of her 5'8", 130# mother. I'm 6'2" and 240# and am 55 years old ... you work it out!! ;-)
