It's time to get serious and oust Paul Sarbanes (MD) from power. That clown's been sitting around doing nothing for too long - when he shows up. They call him "the ghost."

The problem with Sarbanes (D-MD) is that he's a popular liberal Democrat from a liberal Democrat state, a perfect fit. Do you have any "star" candidate in mind who might beat Sarbanes? And please don't give me Alan Keyes; he's about 0-8 at being elected.
We need a Republican who would appeal to liberals. Yeah, there is the Governor Bob Ehrlich, but why would he give up his post? What about Lieutenant Governor Michael Steele?
Even so, it would be a hard, uphill road to trudge, especially if the election becomes nationalized.

That clown's been sitting around doing nothing for too long - when he shows up. They call him "the ghost."Unfortunately, he got busy and created one of the biggest OBSTACLES to productivity in this country last year; Sarbannes Oxley, which is spoken in bitter terms and with not a small amount of cursing in corporate circles. As with all legislation passed in the heat of the moment during a 'problem', this one was supposed to solve the problem of corporate chieftans being able to snow everyone that their companies were in good shape, then suddenly going down the tubes. The sentiment was fine, but this legislation only creates enormous MIGRAINES among folks who have to fill this paperwork out ALL YEAR!!
If he's defeated, can we REPEAL his legislation?

It's ridiculous that North Dakota still has two democratic senators. I'd go after Kent Conrad, he only lost by 60,000 votes, Dorgans margins were much bigger. That or pressure Conrad to flip.
