Gosh, the woman hits the nail on the head. She also talks in laymen's terms so that anyone can understand her meaning. She pulls not punches. My hat's off to Kathleen Parker for saying it like it is. YYYYeeeessss!!!

Very, very well written. Quod est demonstratum.

We should keep this sort of thing under wraps. If the Democrats read it honestly, they might actually learn something. I would prefer that they continue to think like this person wrote in this article:

"People who believe in heterosexual marriage because the traditional family model best serves children and therefore society are not ipso facto homophobic. Americans vexed about our casual disregard for human life are not necessarily Stepford-Neanderthals. And, those people who believe in some power greater than themselves are not always rubes."

Exaclty!

All respect to Kathleen Parker, but the Democrats have gone waaaaay past clueless. It takes ten thousand years for the light from clueless to reach the place the Democrats are now.

The Democrats aren't clueless. It's dangerous to think so. Their only recalibration will be in how to fool the moderates and undecideds. Here's a post on this topic. (Shameless self-promoting vanity post.)

Beverly Camhe, a film producer; Zito Joseph, a retired psychiatrist; and Roberta Kimmel Cohn, an art dealer, elite New Yorkers all, were stunned. In Joseph's words, Bush voters are "obtuse," "short-sighted," "redneck," "shoot-from-the-hip" religious literalists.

"New Yorkers are more sophisticated and at a level of consciousness where we realize we have to think of globalization, of one mankind, that what's going to injure masses of people is not good for us," said Joseph, as he shared coffee and cigarettes with Cohn at an outdoor cafi.

These two paragraphs contradict one another but sums up the thinking of the left, "We are all of one mankind, except those obtuse, short-sighted, rednecks who don't think like we do. We'll change their thinking someday."

Well this is another conservative spouting simplistic stuff that sounds good, and will mesmerize the ignorant. I note, however, that her article is devoid of the nuance required of serious dialog about policy goals.

Consciousness and sophisticaiton. This is the same globalization that flew fully fueled aircraft into the WTC, direct by friends downtown at the UN. This isn't sophistation at all. It is running away from reality as fast as you can while it comes crashing down around your ears, more literally than figuratively. And they call people who live in the red-zone rubes. These people are totally unconscious. Even the dubmest red-zone rube has the sense to stay out of the way of a bull in rut.

None of the clueless bastards mentioned in the article above will ever get a dime of my money. I've been boycotting hollywood and network television for the longest time now and will continue to do so. This also includes boycotting the any of the clueless bastards in the music industry who were in support of Kerry most recently.
