All of his problems are consistent with his known medical history and a man his age. There is no reason to think he has AIDS whatsoever.

I too do not understand this pre-occupation with his ill health. He is very old, very sick, and most likely dying. I don't really care WHAT he dies of, he's lived far too long as it is, he's done nothing good in his entire life.

his known medical history

His medical history is as hidden as Kerry's.

Hmmmm...

I agree all his symptoms could be the cause of old age plus many other complications. However it is a "little" suspicious that they are claiming he has a "mysterious" illness. This needs to be made very public otherwise conspiracy theories will abound...

Did you READ the article? There are many other articles on the subject. IMO, a circumstantial case for AIDS has been more than substantially proven.

But we don't know Arafat's real medical history. We only know what they chose to release. The nonsense going on now leads to speculation, and rightly so. Either they're forging his signature to a great many large checks, or they've already cleaned out the accounts and now have to figure out where to bury him. He's probably been dead for several days, but, that can't be so. 'He's in a coma, but it's reversible. All his organs and faculties are working fine.' Oh, yeah.

And your uninformed opinion is more valuable than all the information in the article because of....?

Without a blood test it's all speculative, but if the a**hole is a known homosexual, why wouldn't he have AIDS?

That's not the point. The point of the whole article is that he may have AIDS, based on CIA/KGB/etc. surveillance. Just because he's old and has bad medical history does not mean he doesn't have AIDS, either.

Gay? Of course not... how absurd... preposterous... even to think...

Now 'buggery'... that's a whole different deal.

" There is no reason to think he has AIDS whatsoever."

- I agree completely. There has never been a documented case of a man acquiring AIDS through sexual contact with sheep.

Not true...This does make sense...There is nothing inherent in age that causes hematological problems like this. There is also an aids related dementia that occurs early.
