...Real wages are dropping...

I'm not from Missouri but please, SHOW ME anyhow! But, before you do (show me, that is) check out this post [#6] from last week.

I know it's not the real wage data, even though I'm curious as to what you'll find, but I think that this data is much more telling.

average real wages in terms of averge increases are declining.

1994 23,753.53 2.68%

1995 24,705.66 4.01%

1996 25,913.90 4.89%

1997 27,426.00 5.84%

1998 28,861.44 5.23%

1999 30,469.84 5.57%

2000 32,154.82 5.53%

2001 32,921.92 2.39%

2002 33,252.09 1.00%

2003 34,064.95 2.44%

The last three years are lower than the previous three or the previous three before that.
