Because we evil religious bigots actually made our opinions known on election day, I was treated to a diatribe from my 27 year old political science professor about how pastors are manipulative of their congregations. In other words, we evil religious bigots are ALSO malleable idiots.

Why the hostility? My professor replies: I dislike religion because it discourages independent thinking. The example he used was Galileo. No new arguments in the anti-God bag of tricks, apparently.

I don't know about anyone else here, but no paster manipulated me. My "God vote" was from me, not my paster. And this professor doesn't understand us, we answer directly to the Lord, as do our pasters.
