Now that the Republicans have won, they are going to say that they have a mandate to go crazy legislatively. Whereas Libs merely thought they had a Divine Right to do anything they chose when they were in power.

There is no telling what they might do or who Bush will attack next.
Iran is next and about time.

As far as the winners wanting us to forget the insults and be 'one country'--forget it. Then get the heck out of OUR country!

Well, truly. At some point, we all have to admit that we live in a deeply divided nation.

Boo hoo. They HAVE to react this way--if they had to face that they lost because they have the wrong message they might have to admit they aren't perfect and that they have been going down the wrong path for years, something they could never, ever do.

Not only is this little punk in stages of grief, but that grief has robbed him of his ability to punctuate properly. I thought the answer to his letter was excellent.

I think that you plastic patriots who voted for this imbecile should volunteer your children for his cannon fodder instead of requiring the rest of us to do your fighting for youyour paper is so bad that even my bird refuses to take a dump on it...

It really does sound like a post from DU.
What they don't get is if we lose our job, we are willing to wash pots, go to school, move or start our own business. We are resourceful and don't blame the government.
If our child willingly goes to serve in the Military, we are proud of them and support them. If they die, our hearts are broken, but we see the bigger picture of life.
It isn't for cowards.

The election is over and all I can think of were two quotes from PT Barnum: 'there is a sucker born every minute'..and 'never misunderestimate the stupidity of the american people.'
All I can think of is one quote from Pee Wee Herman: "I know you are, but what am I."

I am really starting to get p!ssed at being compared to the fascists. Who wants to have government control of the economy? Who wants to leave the citizenry defenseless against an ever more powerful central government? Who supports those who love to kill the Jews in "Palestine"? It really takes a real man to say such things hiding behind a paper, but I would invite any liberal to make the same accusations to my face (it would become rather physically uncomfortable for them).

Two small corrections, Mr. Price. One, P.T. Barnum never said "There's a sucker born every minute." Two, we're not at war with Syria. The Chattanoogan doesn't have editors?
