This is getting really, really annoying.
For someone who is presumably educated and knowledgeable enough to write a column, presumably with editors available, to not know that Syria has no oil to speak of*, is mind-boggling.

I saw one of those ridiculas left wing bumper stickers that said Bush, 4 more wars. I thought to myself that sounds about right, Iran,Syria,North Korea,....an France yep,that ought to work.

get a grip buddy- looking at the map I would say virtually all of the "plastic patriots" with sons, daughters, husbands, relatives and friends in the military- comes from Red Country. I don't think the San Francisco, Berkeley, Malibu, Seattle, and Manhattan Brigades have yet deployed.
