In Netherlands - "Thou Shalt Not Kill" is now a racist comment! (Religion of Peace Alert!)
Dhimmi Watch ^ | November 5, 2004

I wrote at some length yesterday about Muslim advocacy groups crying "racism" at any hint of criticism — but this one is far beyond that. It shows that large numbers of Muslims do not share many of the values that most Westerners assume they share. It also shows that at least some are demanding that the Dutch abandon all vestiges of Christianity in their culture.

Live From Brussels tells us about Dutch artist Chris Ripke, who painted a mural containing the words "Thou shalt not kill" ("Gij zult niet doden") in response to the murder of Theo van Gogh:

But because the head of the nearby mosque complained to the police that this was 'offensive' and 'racist', the cops came and sent in city workers to sandblast the mural. A local journalist, Wim Nottroth, who wanted to protest against this by standing in front of the mural was arrested. His story, in Dutch, here. Video of the event, here. It has come to this.

Unfortunately the Muslims have taken advantage of the traditional Dutch character of tolerance, as exemplified by the Ten Booms.

You are correct sir. "Allah" is the name for the pagan moon god Mohammed used to create his religion.

I guess the Dutch have oil monies from the North Sea, but I can't imagine an extended occupation of that region. Seventy five years tops.

A lot of Westerners can be killed in 75 years.

If the muslims want to remove any stricture against killing, then certainly it seems logical to have an open season on muslims also. What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

Makes me wish I could send arms to the right people over there. Give them a fighting chance against the Islamists.

Spot on, BL. Europe's been disarmed and neutered, and primed for the Muslim slaughter.

My mistake, I remember it was an animal rights activist now, Volkert Van der Graaf. I doubt that it was concern for animals that motivated the murder though.

Van der Graaf said he saw Fortuyn as "a steadily increasing danger for vulnerable groups in society". Who would those 'vulnerable groups' be? Muslim immigrants Fortuyn wanted to keep out.

Also from a website: "Janssen van Raay of the LPF said that Van der Graaf was hired for the murder, suggesting a link to al-Qaida. He said he expected al-Qaida to free him from prison within a year."

There is a series by WaterMark Ministry on their pages at inJesus.com giving an overview of Islam. A new article is posted every Sunday. It's quite interesting.

Pim Fortuyn ran for office on a platform of containing immigration and a Muslim shot him dead.

No it was an animal rights activist who was sympathetic to Muslims.

I have friends in Holland and they give it one generation, before it all falls apart on them, so around 25 years. The Dutch birth rate is way down and the Islamic birth rate and immigration rate is climbing at an exponential rate. Basically much of what we know about Dutch culture (tulips, windmills, wooden shoes, etc) will be only found in books and carried into the future by Dutch immigrants to the US, and that obviously is not the ideal way to hold onto a true culture.

I have some consolation in that I am largely preaching to the choir.

You're in good hands here! Rest assured. And, in case you missed it, this should offer some additional reassurances of your sanity.

...it will fuel the strength of a nationalistic party in Holland.

Indeed. Hopefully, the extremes to which the politically correct multi-cultists are going in order to accommodate those vile, cutthroat Islamic dogs, while at the same time destroy their own culture, will make the few Europeans left who care about their future wake up and take a cold, hard look at where their bleeding heart liberalism will inevitably lead them. (Slavery and death)

It's not too late, but I'm not going to hold my breath.
