I wrote at some length yesterday about Muslim advocacy groups crying "racism" at any hint of criticism — but this one is far beyond that. It shows that large numbers of Muslims do not share many of the values that most Westerners assume they share. It also shows that at least some are demanding that the Dutch abandon all vestiges of Christianity in their culture.
Live From Brussels tells us about Dutch artist Chris Ripke, who painted a mural containing the words "Thou shalt not kill" ("Gij zult niet doden") in response to the murder of Theo van Gogh:
But because the head of the nearby mosque complained to the police that this was 'offensive' and 'racist', the cops came and sent in city workers to sandblast the mural. A local journalist, Wim Nottroth, who wanted to protest against this by standing in front of the mural was arrested. His story, in Dutch, here. Video of the event, here. It has come to this.
You know, if there was a silver lining for Eastern Europe during the Cold War is that being behind the Iron Curtain pretty much isolated them from the immigration of Muslims.

Sheesh! The Muslims ask that three little letters be removed from a sixteen letter phrase and everybody gets all upset. With the N, the O and the T removed there are still thirteen letters left-is that too much of a concession to make so the tender, timid, peaceful Muslims don't feel threatened?
Muhamadism seems to be the one exception to this rule. Churchill had some very insightful writings on Islam. As to why the people of England ignored his warnings on them I cannot justify. A guy with the radar of Churchill mandates close listening.

A mere 400 years ago, the Spanish discovered just how tough are the Dutchmen. I do hope the breed has not been completely denatured in the intervening few years.

I guess some in Holland have taken Islams "submit or die" options seriously and have decided to be good dhimmis. So it seems the Islamofacists have made it way past the gates of Vienna this time....
I think we can expect to see more of this kind of behavior all across Europe as more and more muslim immigrants spread throughout the continent.
Europeans may be socialist whiners but that goes just so far, and when the reality of muslim persecution sinks in there will be, IMO, a "tipping point".
At that time who do you think the Europeans will ask to help rid themselves of the muslim fanatics?

Islam offends me and so does it's system of gender and religious apartheid, anti-semitism and murderous ideology. I demand the Dutch cops send city workers to sandblast the Koranimals!

I see a pattern developing here. No wonder many others are afraid to speak out.
The typical cycle though in Islam expansion involves invasion, occupation, and exodus of the indigenous peoples and talent. Once the infrastructure begins to deteriorate, ie the power grids, phone systems, sewage systems, water systems, highways, and banking goes to pot, they either hire in western talent to run these services for them or they live in perpetually deteriorating conditions. Their pinache for breaking business contracts(remember the few hundred thousand sheep floating the oceans?) and corrupt behavior continues to pull them downward. I cannot think of one exception to this problem. Western engineering services paid for by oil money keep the machinery turning in Islam. I guess the Dutch have oil monies from the North Sea, but I can't imagine an extended occupation of that region. Seventy five years tops.
well, the obvious proper Dutch response would be to bulldoze Rotterdam and start over.
the question is whether they still have the guts to do it.
