I would have taken Bill Clinton anyday of the week over this guy. My son and I were talking about the election this afternoon. I told him that as much as I despised clintbilly, kerry would have been a thousand times worse.
LOL, he is taking a class right now that played a PBS critique of clintbilly and Rwanda. I told him if PBS was critical of clintbilly, the truth was much worse!

You beat me to it! The Cumcumber's song adapted with Kerry's more intellectual language:
Oh! Where is my hairbrush?
Oh! Where is my hairbrush?
O where o where o where, o where ...
Is my f***in' hairbrush?

I just said the same thing to my husband. America dodged a bullet to the heart with this one. b.

I was wondering when a VeggieTales reference was forthcoming.
"Take care . . . Oh my hairbrush"

Somehow, though, the long-awaited Bush collapse wasn't happening, at least not yet. Iraq seemed to be in flames. At a press conference in mid-April, Bush told a reporter that, try as he might, he just couldn't think of a mistake he had made since 9/11. The press and the chattering classes hooted in derision. But Bush actually went up in the polls. Most voters seemed to like the president's show of resolve. Kerry was baffled. He said with a sigh to one top staffer, "I can't believe I'm losing to this idiot." He just doesn't understand post 9/11 America.

"But the fact is, anybody in the proximity of the campaign should've been able to observe for themselves (or, at least, sense) that Kerry's was temperamentally unqualified to be President."Indeed. Everyone in his campaign staff put their Party before their country. They knew that JFK was unstable and unfit for the Presidency. They had to know.
Yet they said nothing, lest it hurt their short-term political aspirations.

"I get myself breakfast. I get myself hairbrushes. I get myself my cell-phone charger. It's pretty amazing."Huh. I do that myself. I guess I should have been whining all this time. Personally, I wonder if he was this way on the Swift Boat... "I get myself breakfast, I get my own ammo, I have to pull the trigger myself, I have to wound myself. It's pretty amazing..."
In silent frustration, Nicholson helplessly punched the car seat.
F**k, Marvin. You shoulda punched that prissy little girl in the face, right before the photo shoot...

When the MSM provided cover for the Clintons and their cult of personality I felt disgust. Papering over this type of nonsense in post 9/11 America is irresponsible.
They're not worthy of the deference given them by McCain-Feingold. Other groups have to tone it down 60 days before elections. But that's OK, because we've got these "guardians" looking out for us and making sure we'll make an informed decision.

They knew that JFK was unstable and unfit for the Presidency. They had to know. Of course, they did. But, after posting, it occurred to me that there is another explanation.
Specifically, to those who surrounded the Kerry campaign -- staff and media -- his behavior may have been perceived as "normal". It being exactly the way they would've behaved in the same circumstance...

As professional craftspeople, we spent years on the road doing trade shows. You lose stuff all the time. We would lose something like a comb or a brush and run out to Walmart or Target or ShopKo and BUY one.
This is beyond inane, IMO. I cannot imagine this idiot crafting any sort of policy. I blame his staff, actually. Who would ever work for someone like this, especially in a personal assistant capacity? Not for $75k a year and benefits. Not for $150k, actually.
If my husband pulled this sort of fit over a misplaced brush, he would suffer the dreaded eyeroll and realize it was time to pull up his socks, go buy a hairbrush and let it end.
Kerry sounds like a drama queen.
