Those numbers are 6 million votes short of what other networks are saying. Still 51-48

y'know..I think I'd rather say it this way, with rounding (4.663 Million), Bush got 5 Million more votes than Kerry;
stick that in your "Gore won the popular vote" DUers.

Presidential election 2004 by county. You can buy shirts with this on it at newsmax lol. I bet as the absentee ballots come in Bush's numbers might go even higher. Anyone know if we have a chance to win PA or WI with those? probably not... but it will be nice to see his popular vote go up by (estimate) another 500,000.

They are still counting -- Sean just reported this on his radio show, too..... I suppose this still doesn't equate to a "mandate?" Who was the last President to have this high a percentage (Reagan?) Certainly not Clinton.
To: rocklobster11
Did anyone notice the "91% of precincts reporting"???
This is old data. Bush's total is almost to 60 Million. He couldn't "gain" to 52-47 and lose several million votes to drop back to 56,788,184

Your vote totals are correct, but not the percentages. They are ignoring 3rd party totals for some reason. The up-to-date percentages are Bush 51.1, Kerry 48.0, Others 0.9.
To: Arizona Carolyn
I predict it will be closer to 53 46 by the end of the count
and that will be weeks from now

He's up to 5 percent?? I was told that my prediction of a 5% margin for the President was 'moronic' and I was 'deluded'. I'm so glad this election is over...I really don't think I could take another week of the doom and gloomers.
