By the time all the military absentee votes are counted, and using round up and round down on percentages as is customary, the results may well reflect 52-47.

But, we would be ignoring the poor third party losers.

I suppose that is a crime to some...........But not at all to me.:-)

Look at the raw data. Bush is close to 60 million, those figures are well below that... It looks like NY is omitted.

Who was the last President to have this high a percentage (Reagan?) Certainly not Clinton.

Clinton never made t0 50% and Reagan didn't make as high as "W"

Sean keeps reporting 52-47

That seems more like it.

Nader must have gotten at least a few votes.

I missed the EV because I was certain, based in part on what WI Freepers who worked in the campaign were telling me, that we could win WI and PA or MN. SO my EV count was off by 44, or two big states.

Based on the crowds -- as in Florida and Ohio and PA, I think he may well have WON those States (or most of those states) but the Dem Machine, thanks to the Unions is a tough nut to crack... which is why we need Standardized, Federally-financed elections with electronic ID cards issued (and verified valid voter)well in advance of the elections -- for all voters...

You all saw who was behind the tire-slashing incident...

I wouldn't worry about it. You got the % right. Geeezzz...I thought Rove had teams going into these states to stop the huge voter fraud by the dems. Looks like he focused those teams on FLA and OHIO.

Richardson is still working on stealing NM for kerry. And we've got Republican attorneys all over NM.

Hopefully before next prez election those bugs will be worked out. I understand Jeb stopped the cheatin' in the rat counties (that made up all those extra votes for gore in 2000) by electronic voting machines with a paper trail.

No, R's have not hit a ceiling in the midwest... the midwest is going through the reallignment that the south went through over the past few decades... it will take a while for the midwest to fully turn and be as solid R as the south, but it is going to happen. They will swing back and forth for a while before finally going rock solid R.

Provided the R's keep putting up strong candidates and run good elections, and the D's keep pushing to turn this nation into a secular socialist democracy.. the midwest will turn R and be rock solid... Dems will be left with the NE, the West Coast and Illinois in the national politic, and continue to lose seats in both houses over time as well.
