Bryn Mawr College is in Lower Merion.
The aerial photos I saw were north of the main line in Lower Merion.
Some consolation. From what I see, The President got more votes out of my ward than any other in the city.
Lower Merion doesn't surprise me. I went to school near there and a friend of mine was a cop there for a time. There are a lot of spoiled upper-class libs there.
They likely have Bryn Mawr addresses.
No way to prove I'd be right. Specter didn't help Bush though and if Toomey had lost at least we wouldn't have Arlen.
I am SHOCKED, SHOCKED I tell you that Dubya received that many votes in Manayunk. Everytime I've gone there with my aunt, its been filled with Seattle-style Latte Liberals.
BTW: Are the Hispanics in Kensington largely Dominican or Puerto Rican?
Its a shame, as Haverford in one of my favorite towns in the U.S., let alone the main line.
Puerto Rican.
Even Specter didn't win Lower Merion. It no longer has a majority of Republican voters even with RINO's and Jewish swing voters included. I wonder how long until Democrat one party dominance turns it into a toilet like happened to Bala, Wynnefield, and Overbrook right across City Line Ave. in Philadelphia.
Continuing your analogy of Montco to Westchester, Lower Merion is New Rochelle (which I guess makes Abington equal to Yonkers and Cheltenham equal to Pelham).
