I've done some searching, here and elsewhere, but haven't seen any comments about whether Bernie Ward, KGO's resident Krispy Kreamer, blew like a bag of decomposing-gas Tuesday night.
For those who don't know, haven't seen or heard him, Bernie is a vile leftie. Not the goofy, sorta-amiable Alan Colmes type you could probably have a beer with - but the kind of foamer you want to have put in rabies quarantine. He (still, I think) hosts a late-night talk gig at KGO-AM in San Francisco. Spherical, evil, nasty man.
Anyway, I haven't heard him in many months and live out of the area, so pinging FReepers to find out: has this gasbag Hindenburged yet?
If you know anything . . . . . DISH! Details! Play-by-play would be great.
More than anyone else I could think of, I wanted to be the fly on the wall when he got the Tuesday night news.

I've never heard him on the radio, only seen him as an occasional guest on FOX News. .....and your description is accurate. The guy makes Michael Moore appear amiable.

Maybe he just went into a super-nova, and became space dust. Hopefully. KGO could do very well without him.

Well, a quick check of the KGO website shows that Ward is on weeknights from 10 to 12.
With any luck he'll stay missing. He reanks right up at the top of the list of most obnoxious Libs.....and that really takes some doing!!

Well, he was on on Wednesday night - I could only stand about two minutes, but last night Karel (who is a virulantly rabid leftist squirre) was on. He actually was for the CA INdian gaming initiatives, even though the guy debating against them said they didn't have worker protection and consumer protection included ... causes I *thought* liberals believed in. Karel's answer? "We screwed them 200 years ago - it's their turn."
I think he's really Mark Morford, but meaner.

It's a crummy shot, but is the only Google result I could find that approximates his current appearance. He's the one on the left, of course. He's very left.
I think that's a really old photo of him. When I've seen him on cable news shows, he's just HUGE. Bernie the hut. I can't listen to him - he's absolutely rabid.
