It is a load of crap. But she is such a pain. See I resolved to be the bigger person and not call to gloat when Bush won.
The other libs in my family called me and I was able to say that Kerry was being a good guy to concede. (I know he actually lost but they called)
This one did not call and NOW sends this crap!

This is a video sent by my sister which states that the US set up Saddam and gave him all the WMD and ends by saying that we didn't have to get him, we had him all along.

It ticks me off and the FReepers are smarter than I am so I came here.

Hussein was trained by our CIA to overthrow an evil regime.

He convinced us he was on our side.

He did not claim to have our support when we went after him (leading me assume we had lost ties and parted our ways long ago)

Terrorists rose up against our forces once we were in Iraq. They were inside an occupied country. The were being housed.

From my undesrtanding (I was not alive then, so you tell me) when Sadam wanted to go into Kuwait, it was against our will. Sadam was "biting the hand that fed him" by going in. The hand simply had a rolled up newspaper to take him out with. (Personally, I would take that as a cue to look up WHICH border that memo was referring to. It seems about as well placed as the children playing and then an Iraqi government building burning in F9/11)

Just say that if we were so wrong in our previous policy supporting Hussein, then she should be happy that we later prevented him from taking over Kuwait and then overthrowing him to make way for a democratic government (elections in January).

Last nite at football practice this topic came up and one of the parents repeated all the talking points. They believe it and this parent was foaming at the mouth when all was said and done. Their is no moderation with the left-and it's going to get worse - all these disgruntled voters walking around parroting Michael Moore's talking points - It's quite sad, really.

Gosh, the CIA was a really evil organization under Jack Kennedy! Fortunately, Ronald Reagan corrected JFK's mistake by encouraging Saddam into a war with Iran (thereby degrading the war-making potential of Iran and Iraq). Then George H. W. Bush cleverly lured Saddam into attacking Kuwait, which further softened up Saddam for the final strike which (since Clinton passed up the opportunity for a legacy) occurred under "W".

Well, let's see......suppose you gave your sister some help with her homework for a test when you were both younger....that's good, isn't it, because she looked like she was going to study, be a good student, and take care of herself. BUT, then she decided to give what you gave her to EVERYONE in class DURING the test....PLUS, later, she decided she needed to kill some of the people in her class, because they would no longer be a part of her little cheating game. After that YOU refused to give her any more help. Make sense? (Probably only to you and me...and NOT your sister....LOL)

Well, the video *did* leave out great big parts of Saddam's
career, kinda like Kerry forgetting about his years in the Senate--you know, those little details about mass murdering his own people, and his lovely little boys and their funny

Typical Liberal logic (or lack of). Man breaks in to your house, kills your loved ones. Let the criminal go free and sue the gun maker for making the gun in the first place. Evil corporations were the root cause so it is they that must be punished. Murders are simply puppets and bear no personal responsibility. If you dare try to bring that murderer to justice then you are immediately labeled as a friend of the rich and powerful and marked for destruction.
