Now I know that many of you out there are tempted to call ol' Mikey a 'fat bag of pig vomit' or 'a crack-smoking, glue sniffing, pile of goat sh!t' or some such, but in reality, MM did more for our cause than he could possibly ever know. I'm refering to the fact that whenever this d!ckhead showed his face on tv (when they could fit it all on the screen using a superwide telefoto lens) and puked out lie after lie about GWB, it only served to energize OUR base, not theirs. Much of the post-election analysis has shown this to be the case. A similar scenario occured back in the eighties when the National Organization for Women (or perhaps it was Planned Parenthood) was led by a miserable old hag named Molly Yard, a hard-core Stalinist/leftist whose vitriol and disgust for all things conservative was on full display every time she was in front of the camera (she was an absolute beast of a woman to look at and listen to). But the unintended consequence of MY's acidic persona was that contributions and membership enrollments in conservative political groups increased dramatically EVERY TIME SHE WAS ON TV. I mean --swear to God--they actually tracked this statistically and found it to be true. Her 'negativity ratings' were so high that she had to be replaced immediately, and was sent back to stuffing envelopes and fetching coffee for the comrades. Voters responded to her and Mike's kind like the human body reacts to a jalapeno enema. So, thanks, Mike. And even though it would be sooooo easy, I'll not make fun of your enormous girth or your annoyingly persistent body odor. Because deep down in my compassionate conservative heart, I think you might have done us all one heck of a favor (wink, wink)!

Mickey Moore: Was he Karl Rove's secret weapon??
[/tinfoilhat]
He's a con man... a snake oil salesman, and he sold his scam and took the money. He screwed the left far more than he did the right. Through all, he is scum, and not worthy of validation or approval from any quarter. He has the same lack of shame or moral compass as a clinton.
Well that, and he's a big poopy head.
laughing like a loon at 3:30 am
very funny...and true...
That is so true. I believe many who may have not voted or who may have given a vote to a candidate more specific to their views (Libertarian, Constitutionalists, ect) realized that Michael Moore was scary and if this was the type of person trying to get Democrats elected, they had to unite with Republicans as there was a a much greater cause - to keep these fanatics from getting their hands on the White House. Some, and I don't blame them, may have voted for Bush out of pure spite against Moore and Sean Penn and all those Marxist fools.
I truly wish that he'd make another "movie" in time for the 2006 mid-terms. At the rate we're going, if he makes another one two years after that, by 2008 we'll have 70 senate seats, 300 house seats, and 7 supreme court seats. (tee hee!) Roll on, Brother Mike!
Anybody know Moore's phone number?
During an appearance in Portland, OR, Moore, on stage, gave out the private number of a local conservative talk show host. Threatening calls were made to the talk show host and his wife. This week the calls started again. Lars Larson (the host) had to move the first time and I guess they are packing again.
Moore's private, not office, number would be interesting to have.
I already emailed him yesterday thanking him for helping to re-elect our president.
Just send him a cordial "thank-you" note.
Kinda how I figure it too.
LOL!
Just send him a cordial "thank-you" note.
Indeed, seeing the results of his magnum opus and his own special personal presence (the Molly Yard comparison was quite apt), perhaps anyone writing should ask Mr. Moore to consider making a nice votemaker for the 2008 election also:
Dear Mr. Moore,As a strong supporter of the re-election of President Bush, I would like to thank you for your efforts in the film-making industry. Your film Fahrenheit 911 and your personal efforts were a great help in re-electing President Bush.
I would like to ask you to consider perhaps adding to your oeuvre in 2008 with another clumsy hatchetjob, and I would be gratified if you would consider making many personal appearances vilifying Republicans for their rightwing stances.
If I could be so bold, perhaps I could suggest that you could join forces with the distinguished professor Noam Chomsky and the cartoonist Ted Rall? I believe that such a triumvirate would be a true "dream team".
In fact, I believe that Democratic Party is looking for a few good men for the 2008 presidential race, and if you three would consider standing for election, I would be forever in your debt.
Best regards!
Without Michael Moore, we wouldn't have gotten this:

So, thanks, Mike!
HI guys, newbie here -but long time lurker.
Have enjoyed this board and its topics immensly over the duration of this campaign. I use to admire Mr. Moore's early work (notably, "Roger & Me") and have been driven to the point of disgust with this grand-standing clown.
I recommend that FREEPERS now devote their full attention and wrath to _MICHAEL MOORE_, as much as the successful guerilla FLIPPER/FLOPPER/FLAPPER dolphin campaign succesfully exposed the fraud of that other candidate. (loved their appearance on MSNBC -haha).
I am suggesting a 24hour/7day a week campaign with not just 1200 video cameras (that MM used to itimidate FL voters), but something on a much LARGER and FREEPER scale. That is, potentially TENS OF THOUSANDS of video and still cameras and audio recorders in HIS FACE to tail this fat-asses every move and eating splurge (all within the legal bounds that he accords himself).
Show MICHAEL MOORE the same blind-siding courtesy that he affords the President or anyone else he can profit off of.(Including that soldier with the blown off limbs). Does he read books UPSIDE down too?
There should be a DAILY Where's Michael Moore thread discussing his wherabouts for all curious FREEPERS. Of course, it would be great to have running TIMERS on all video of him and his FAMILY (and step-daughter) to answer our inquiries of how long MM takes to devour a whooper...or..other.
I am not advocating anything ILLEGAL, but merely suggesting a potential upcoming exclusive FREEPER PRODUCED VIDEO of thousands of home-made clips world-wide to present the MM MAN and exalted DNC Guest of Honor and to provide a PEEK behind this living (fraud) legend to the American public -but with the same EDITING SKILLS that he used in F911. I also propose that RON SILVER be involved in this project.
Just my thoughts at 4:00 am CST. So WHERE'S MM NOW? HMMMMM?
Thank You.
My daughter (19, Republican and first time voter) has seven friends that were all Anti-Bush. She was shocked by the hatred and came to me many times to help explain things to her. She would not discuss her conservative leanings with her friends as she did not want to lose them.
On election day, my daughter told me that the most rabidly anti-Bush friend went to vote, only, because his mother is gay and he wanted to vote against the marriage amendment and while he was there he voted for a presidential candidate-----BUSH, because Kerry was too scary; another friend and his girlfriend voted for Bush because family members were voting for Bush and were able to make sense to these kids; the other four stayed home because they did not want to vote for Kerry or Bush (not because they were lazy, drunk, or uncaring).
Yesterday, my daughter had her friends listening to Rush Limbaugh for the first time and they were actually enjoying it. I don't know that they will become Republicans, but at least they are opening their eyes to the other side. And they are going to watch Farenhype 911 this weekend, finally.
Deviously brilliant!

Humiliate Michael Moore today!
"like the human body reacts to a jalapeno enema."---LOL! LMAO! Great line! Can I use it?
You probably have the most appropriate name there is for these times...
I think we should all send thank you letters to Fat Mike for helping us to win this election.
