If you're looking to dispute someone who claims that Karl Rove created this re-election from the dust, I'm not the man. I'm saying, as I've said... that for once there was a real way presented to Christians to bring them into the actual campaign activities that are effective.
It's called the "ground game" of a campaign. Most often, prior to this year, Christians were just distributing voter guides to each other, at best, and that was a shame.

The topic of this thread is whether Rove is overrated. Ms. Coulter submits that he is and I happen to agree. This is important because if his moderation is taken seriously, it squanders our victory.
As I see it, Rove was in the right place at the right time. We are in a war. The Democrats decided that was the best time to run Dukakis' lieutenant governor. At the same time, the Courts decided to constitutionalize sodomy and being legalizing gay marriage. Did I mention the war?
Given all that, Bush won by a single state when running against the Senate's number One and Four liberals. That is not the performance of "genius."
