What is it about democrats? They make careers out of dividing our nation into adversarial groups, claim to be the omnipotent solver of each group’s problems, and then, when they have created this huge divide among our people, they absurdly call for “healing”. It sounds like “divide and conquer” all over to me.
These people really are an amazing lot. They create problems and then task the other party’s leaders with the responsibility of fixing them. It is like a drunk driving accident where a criminally irresponsible driver causes an ugly situation others suffer from, pay for, and have to clean up. No, I am not leading into a discussion of the destruction wrought by the Clinton administration.
After being soundly and historically defeated by the President, in an election marked by some of the most ridiculously divisive statements ever made by a candidate, leftist challenger John Kerry said, “Today I hope that we can begin the healing.” Like the macho Hollyweird actors of the forties who would smack the face of a delirious woman to snap her to, somebody needs to give this guy a dose of reality. Hey John, wake up. You and your party are the reason for all the divisiveness. Stop creating it!
Democrats always do the same thing during elections and throughout the various government positions they hold. Things like telling seniors their precious Social Security will be destroyed by the other guys, and it never has. They repetitively tell black people that the other guys will return them to the days of Jim Crow laws, when in reality, the other party has done more to really empower minorities than democrats. They always tell the labor unions the other party will destroy their wage structure and their jobs will disappear but actually, the republicans do more to encourage positive economic growth, thus creating more jobs.
I am only half way through my life, God willing, and I have never seen any of the terrible results democrats predict will happen from electing republicans. On the contrary, I have seen a lot of positive. Take the current administration of President Bush for instance. Here is a man who inherited a recession that, of course, the democrats blame him for, and he has guided us through it quite successfully, even with the negative effects of 9-11 to boot.
What was the tool he used to keep our economy moving in this time of war with a recession already looming? That would be the tax cut. Are you listening? President Bush used the tax cut to keep us in the black, which contrary to liberal propaganda, went to anyone who actually paid taxes. It is the second time I have witnessed the results of a tax cut in my lifetime. The first was from the administration of Ronald Reagan, arguably the greatest president of the twentieth century. It has been proven twice in the last 20 years, so get it straight, confiscatory taxes stall the economy and erode employment. Socialism doesn’t work.
Probably the worst division created by this man named John Forbes Kerry, a man I prefer to call Ho Chi Kerry, was accomplished with a nasty thing called treason. This man, whom the liberal media assist in telling us is a war hero, not only turned his back on his alleged “band of brothers” leaving them early with three purple hearts for scratches, he reviled them with lies, distortions, embellishments, and misrepresentations.
But joining a band of fakers and wannabes called the VVAW and lying about what was going on in Vietnam wasn’t enough for this politically ambitious man. He saw fit to actually go to a foreign nation and meet with our enemy, while they were still torturing and murdering our POW’s, and he was still a commissioned officer in the Navy.
In Paris, France, communists and their American anti-war allies planned how to end America’s involvement in the war, which would give the northern communists an easy task of rolling over the weaker South Vietnamese. General Giap and his communist army merely had to wait for the anti-war peace hippies to do, on our streets, what the North Vietnamese could not do in battle, defeat us. Although liberal revisionist history books will not reveal it, this is the basic truth about how the war was lost. Vietnam was not lost by our troops; it was lost by the Cronkites, Rathers, McNamaras, Fonda’s, and Kerrys who have the gall to tell the rest of us to clean up their mess.
Then, as a Senator, in the early nineties, Kerry, along with RINO McCain, buried the truth about POWs abandoned in the name of political expediency. They did this during the Senate Select Committee Hearings on POWs and MIAs. Interestingly, John Forbes Kerry’s cousin, a Forbes, gained real estate dealings worth billions through normalized trade relations with Vietnam that this action by Kerry sealed. I guess it is a personal requirement for John Kerry to commit treason at least once in a given decade. This decade he is doing it with the Iraqi Freedom War.
This unfathomable division fostered by Ho Chi Kerry, Hanoi Jane, and the others, is still an open wound in our country, and quite frankly, it isn’t going to heal until we who lived through that time complete this life. The very fact that this treasonous man even had the opportunity to run for President is an insult, and as the saying goes, is ‘salt in the wound”.
If John Forbes Kerry really wants to “begin the healing”, all he has to do is come clean on the lies he was a party to, the treason he committed, and apologize. However, Mr. Kerry isn’t going to do that because egomaniacs do not admit fault. Instead, he will use this division he assisted in creating to call for the other side to heal it. The depth of this man’s dishonor is beyond the realm of understanding.
To all Vietnam Veterans who may read this, I am the little brother of a 173rd Airborne Infantryman (67-68) and I salute you. You are my real heroes and no leftist liar is ever going to dishonor you in my presence and get away with it. This country may choose to allow Ho Chi Kerry to escape being charged with treason, but this American will never forget. Welcome home brothers and sisters.

On Moody Broadcasting's "Prime Time America" today, one guest (former AG of Virginia I believe) called what Kerry did a canard. It is more of a subjective demand by the media than anything.
Yes there needs to be healing, the rat bastards lost and need to get over it. Send them all to Dafur or a gulag in Siberia to heal. Dems are no longer physically or mentally viable as Americans.

I was channel surfing and saw Linda Chavez on PBS - the question was about "reaching out" - she said very boldly .. since the democrats LOST - it's their responsibility to reach out - not the republicans. The expression on the faces of the other 7 people (all libs) was incredible - they were stunned - I wish I could have captured it on film.

In dealing with those rabid democrats, one cannot expect a handshake from a Viper. They are never to be trusted in any position of power for their real goal is the demise of America. I could accurately call the dems the party of psychopaths because it fits their profile. I wish I could have video taped the demonic faces on the kerry voters at our polling place. The video would have provided a good laugh for all us Freepers. I think it is so funny to see these klowns act so innocent after they have lied, committed forgery, obstructed justice, voter fraud, and sought to incite riots in our country. The republicans in the house and senate need to remind these kommie klowns what goes around comes around. SOoooo Saaaaad TOooooo BAaaad. Thank you for the updated info on our commie-liberal losers.
