Arafat is brain dead, eh? I guess now he can run for office in the EU or register to vote as a democrat.

Thus the conflicting reports of his 'Death'.

There is NO activity on his EEG's and so several, including the Luxembourg PM, have said he is Dead... but apparently being kept on a ventilator successfully.

"It's not looking good, but his body is still warm."

Arafat keeps not being dead and so more funny FReepers get to comment on threads such as this. I suppose that is OK for a while.

He's just "mostly dead"

( I think it was Billy Crystal in The Princess Bride )

The rotten part is that he'll die a lot more peacefully than many of his victims.

That's the tragic part.

He'll get his just rewards in the end...but I want him to suffer horribly here and now.

I believe that this will be another Idi Amin type lingering death, complete with many false reports. But we have to post to all of them (one will be the last).

I heard Limbaugh say that some feared that Arafat's death would lead to chaos among the Palestinian leadership and rioting in the streets. Then he asked, so what's different about that?

I agree.
