The newly reelected President Bush held his first post-election Cabinet meeting, followed by his first post-election Press Conference, where he showed confidence and good humor as he laid out his second term agenda.
Today is Lady Lauras birthday, and the President gave her a very special gift a new Scotty puppy named Mrs. Beazley! This afternoon the President and First Lady left for Camp David where they will spend their anniversary tomorrow.
Its a GOOD time to be a Bushbot! ENJOY your trip to Sanity Island, and the Daily Dose!!
First of all I want to THANK the Lord Jesus Christ, for granting us this HUGE VICTORY...Lord, there are no words to express our gratitude for the kindness you have bestowed on us...please Lord let me show you my gratitude through my tears of thankfulness! Second, THANK Ohioans, thank you thank you thank! Thank you Florida! Thank you to the MILLIONS who voted and worked so hard to keep W in office for the sake of America's soul!! And to FR, gosh, you guys are GREAT and I thank God for FR...the Lord's continual blessings upon FR! WHO would've imagine the GREAT and AWESOME victory God gave us! To the victors goes the spoils, just like in the times of King David and that great Warrior Gideon!! Again THANK YOU LORD for being so faithful and so abundantly gracious to us!
***Happy Birthday Laura...I hope we have puppy pics.......***
I guess Mrs. Beazley was just born very recently because they won't get her until almost Christmas.
Should be a lot of cute Christmas pix though, with the puppy following Barney's puppyhood example and scattering the fake snow under the W.H. Christmas trees.
I wonder if Mrs. Beazley will be sent off to a trainer like Barney did.
Congratulations on your Oklahoma victory, anny.
Thanks! We weren't worried about the Pres, but I am pleased about Dr. Coburn, indeed!
Woo Hoo! He hit it out of the ballpark today at the Presser..Thank you OhioWfan for the great pictures.
Laura just looks awesome. She's slimmed down some, but just looks so FIT! She looks happy too because she knows their campaign days are over!
OHHH how cute of Laura gift
Barney has new playmate look like
I wonder where Dubya score that puppy from Christine Todd Whitman LOL!
(Please note that the White House has not specified if Mrs. Beasley will be considered Barney's sister or his paramour.)
John Gibson, of Fox News, said the puppy was born last week and won't be joining the first family until December. After that, I bet we see lots of puppy pics.
Hi Ohio.
How cute is that - a new puppy for Laura.
Ohio, I somehow lost my Bushbot gif - it's a red x on my homepage, I looked at your homepage and Rintense's and don't see it either. Is our Bushbot gif lost for good?
Last week, according to John Gibson of Fox News.
I understand the ugly stepsisters let out a few F words when they realized the glass slipper didn't fit.
Okay, okay. I'm not a nice person.
Poor Barney. Everybody will be oohing and ahing over the puppy. His reign will be over. And he was such a cutie.
Only kidding he'll still be king of the golden river. And he'll probably enjoy Mrs. Beasley.
Did anyone ever figure out if the name is from Family Affair or some other origin?
I feel good today and I didn't do a darn thing except contribute and vote, but since I'm in Texas, they didn't need me.
I loved it when he said that wherever his road led him, it would eventually lead him home. (to us)
G'day JustaCowgirl! I think the Vice President sits opposite the President; so he seems to always miss out on photo ops in the cabinet room. Or you usually see the back of head.....
paramour??
Oh, please--not sex in the White House again. Unless they are properly betrothed that is.
Chuckle...not if the puppy is intended to be his mate instead of his sister.
Giggle...
Now, we have the dawn of a new day w/President Bush IN CHARGE. All the dem pejoratives about the 2000 election are inoperable.
