I heard some of them played this AM on F&F--I thought they were a spliced tape. I can hardly believe these are for real.
This man has truly lost it--and they think that Bush is inarticulate! If he said 1/2 these things people would think it had lost his mind!
Doesn't CBS still have rights to the Gary Moore Show's Goodnight Song that they could recycle at a time like this?

We should have a contest for the best FReeper "Ratherism".
I'm partial to this one from colorado tanker in reference to the media's relianced on Zogby's biased poll figures:
"But it blew up on him bigger than a Pali suicide belt."

It sounds like Rather's script writer got a hold of an LBJ era version of "How to Talk like a Texan" from a used book store and feeds these lines to him so that he would sound folksy.

Past Ratherism (2000 election?)..."This race is tighter than lug nuts on a 55 Chevy".

Someone send this to Snopes. I want them to "authenticate" it (actually I just want them posted for all the world to see, I heard them myself on election night).
Tell them you got it in an email.

Dan would rather sandpaper a tiger's ass in a locked phonebooth than tell anything good about Bush.
Both of these are mine, not Dan's.

He really does some funny stuff and should have been a comedian, not a fake newsman.
