Bush-Hating Groups Paid $100,000,000 an Electoral Vote
NewsMax ^ | November 4 | Carl Limbacher

Posted on 11/04/2004 11:36:38 AM PST by MissouriConservative

FNC's popular "Fox & Friends" program this morning noted that Bush-hating groups spent up to $400,000,000 to try to defeat him and that the only state Democrats gained from 2000 was wee New Hampshire (and barely that).

The hosts wondered if these 527s were happy with the results of their spending spree. Let's see: New Hampshire has only four electoral votes, so each one cost $100,000,000.

Oh, wait: There's also Iowa and New Mexico, which the president appears to have won, Democrats having been unable to commit enough fraud to steal this time.

That would mean the left-wing extremists paid hundreds of millions of dollars for negative electoral votes. Yes, the hate groups certainly did motivate the people to go to the polls, though not in the expected way.

What a loser.

Aside from pointless tears, get some crest whitening strips.

Actually, it's not 100,000,000 dollars per vote. It needs to be broken down into dollars per vote lost. They lost 12 votes due to New Mexico and Iowa, but gained 4. So, it's 50,000,000 for each vote lost.

My math may be wrong. Somebody double check for me.

"They spent 0.4 Trillion riling up the conservative base, and they think Karl Rove did it. LOL"

Yup.

People here in my South Alabama neigborhood are still complaining about having to stand in line to vote.

Talk about a stimulus for the economy. Don't they say that money cycles through the economy about 5 or 6 times.
Let's see, that's about two billion dollars of economic stimulus all from people that hate Bush. And they think he's an idiot.

A lot of that, like from Soros and who knows how many Chinese and Arabs, is overseas money.

Helps our trade balance. Thanks, rats!

Ditto that. I've been 'preaching' that sentiment for years. Then again, why should they give directly when they can 'force' everyone through taxation and an inefficient gov't bureaucracy.

Yes.

The liberals DID pay 400,000,000.00 dollars and gained "only" 4 electoral votes.

But.

You forgot something.

The "professional" liberals running these organizations TOOK 400,000,000.00 dollars from the poor, the rich, the innocent, the guilty, the taxpayers, the charity "foundations", and their illegal contributors overseas ...

AND GAVE IT TO THEIR (liberal) MEDIA outlets in advertising dollars, and GAVE IT to their professional politician "handlers" in the Washington establishment!

Now, what would you do for almost 1/2 BILLION in "free cash" from donations not accountable BY anybody, to simply hand out to YOUR friends and out-of-work consultants in thousands of unmarked contracts to outside agencies - with no one asking who you gave it to, how you spent it, and how much you spent?

Make that Billion, not Trillion...

Spending $400 billion would have cleaned out Soros and all of Hollywood...

It gives me a great sense of satisfaction when it sinks in that Georgie Soros is $27 Million less rich than he was before. I know that is not much to him, but it is still a lot of money!

And this doesn't even count the millions (or, let us pray, billions) that Soros and friends lost in trying to manipulate the energy markets.

Bliss. What a wonderful week.
